Hi so I haven't written anything on here in awhile but am I the only one who genuinely loves Phoebe and Coop? I felt in a way they were hinted at since the beginning even though Coop only came in S8. In the episode 'Heartbreak City', the Cupid in that episode said that Phoebe was just as strong as a Cupid ring and could help him bring loved ones together who Drasi had torn apart. Isn't that what Phoebe ended up doing at the end of season 8? Giving people advice on how to find love, bringing people together. One of the things I've always thought was important with Phoebe was that she's in a relationship which her sisters approve of and it doesn't get in the way of her sisterly bond and someone whose accepting of her being a witch. Prue and Paige were never accepting of Phoebe's relationship with Cole for starters and not to mention, Cole always wanted to separate her from her sisters and not just when he was overpowered by the Source. In the episode 'Muse to my Ears', Piper was being supportive and giving Cole advice about that Phoebe was scared about getting married. Cole said it was none of her business and seemed almost offended. He knows how close Phoebe is to her sisters but he didn't even seem okay with that even when he was human.
I've seen people say they like Phoebe with Kyra or Drake as well but Paige didn't really trust Kyra due to Kyle and while she did have good chemistry with Phoebe, she did kind of die so that wouldn't have been possible. I do like Phoebe and Drake though. He brought out the innocence in Phoebe that she lost due to everything she suffered and if he didn't die, I do think they could have been end-game too but why do I love Phoebe and Coop so much? After everything she endured, after struggling so much with love, Coop was what she needed. Someone who put her needs above his own. Someone who cared about what she wanted more than what he wanted. He was initially sent down to help her find love with someone else and even when he fell in love with her, he continued to want the best for her. When he told Phoebe he wanted to talk about them and Phoebe snapped that she didn't have the time to think about it because she was stressed with other things, he accepted that and waited for her. Coop is kind, patient and even selfless. He didn't make a move on Phoebe or admit his feelings until she did because she mattered more to him than her own feelings. The only thing I would have done different is maybe have the 'Heartbreak City' in Season 8 with Coop instead of earlier in Season 2 and go from there. Or have something like all the Cupids being in danger due to demons and seeking the Charmed Ones out for help. Plot-wise I think more could have been done, but I firmly believe Phoebe and Coop belonged together.
