Thanks, guys! My idea for my ending for Phoebe is based on Rebecca from the show "Charmed" She always wanted to marry a rich man, a bit like Canon Phoebe always having a fantasy man. Rebecca ended up with a poor plumber and couldn't be happier. So having Phoebe end up with a non-magical man just seems like a perfect fit to me - and I much prefer the idea of her as auntie to her sisters' kids than her having any. That might be because that's my own role in my family (only one of six kids not married and only one who doesn't have kids), but I see it as the best way for Phoebe to remain Phoebs. The only things I missed in my combo was Codebox's ideas on empathy and what job I'd want Phoebe to eventually get. I wouldn't want Phoebe to have empathy (it just made her even more of a PhoeME than she was before) until S8 and then only if it was like what Codebox said. I also like his idea for her job: Also don't make Phoebe's arc about love, considering love was NEVER about her character Pre-Cole.. With Empathy have it appear because she wants to understand people better after wanting to take a job with her psychology degree, Phoebe's arc could also be spent understanding people and creatures with empathy and using it as inspiration for her career as a psychologist, this could lead to her being a psychologist with Elise serving to hire her for her understanding of people. This way it feels like she has earned empathy by connecting with people/creatures and not just so she can complain about everything or inflate her ego. Having this empathy power could've been a way to say "Phoebe's good with people" like when she connected with innocents in Seasons 1-2, having empathy give her a new revelation about people. Great ideas Es. Really having fun reading this thread, with what you all came up with. I just found Phoebe would be better fitted as an aunt than a mother. As has been discussed here before, part of the problem in Charmed, was how they handled wanting to have children. It never came from a natural place, it was all because of what herself and Piper saw in their futures. That is a really great job for Phoebe by the way too, Codebox you did well here. I like the idea of her doing that and connecting with people this way to help. Especially after she works through all her issues in Season 5 and 6. But it would be a good way to round out her story, with her getting this job and maybe finding love again near the end of the show. Instead of a flashforward, I'd be okay with a short time-jump of say maybe one year or 6 months or 3 months. Showing the progress in their lives, we see where they are now a year on. Maybe here, we see Phoebe engaged to her non-magical boyfriend, and being an aunt and doing good things in her job. I'm not against a little jump jump, but I don't like full flashforwards spelling out their futures.

I should also mention I'm super cliched and weird so I did not mean to offend anyone regarding my opinion of liking the idea of all the Charmed Ones married and having children. I apologise if I came off that way, to both Es and prudence.

I apologise if I came off that way, to both Es and prudence. That's okay, we all have different opinions on what we prefer to see and where our characters end up. If you like it to be cliche and all three being married with three children each, that's alright. I'm not against any of the sisters being married or having children, I just don't like the idea of all three being exactly the same in the end. But that's just me. And no, didn't offend me, I just feel a different in how I'd like to end the show and where the sisters are left on.

And I wasn't offended either. I've already accepted that you like the idea of Phoebe married to Coop with three daughters and if you also want the other two to be married with three kids, that's fine, too.
I'll NEVER be offended by someone who has a different opinion to mine because I accept that we're all different and are looking at Charmed based on our own backgrounds. Besides, if we all agreed on everything, the threads would be very short and very boring.
Put it this way. When I first joined, just about everyone hated Prue - the "I Hate Prue" thread was the longest one in the thread. Instead most of them loved Chris (this all happened during S6's original run). But rather than being offended and quitting, I simply explained why I love Prue and why I hate Chris. Slowly but surely others have come to look at them the same way.
So keep telling us why you love Phoebe with Coop and having three kids and eventually others may end up feeling the same way. Just remember that others will tell you why they hate Phoebe with Coop and why they would prefer them not having kids. As long as you accept that it's perfectly okay for them to feel that way, then they will accept that it's perfectly okay for you to feel otherwise.
It's all part of the fun of being fans.

Not to pile on what others have already said, but I also preferred Phoebe not having children. I see it as a way of making everyone on the show conform to stereotypical life patterns of marriage and children, and discounts other ways of living. It isn't a bad thing for her to have kids necessarily, but it's just a very unoriginal path for a character who started out so unique.
Phoebe in general had the most potential to end up with the most unconventional life. The idea that she ends up married with kids and a career woman seems like she sold out, in a way.

To be honest, despite Phoebe/Coop being a favourite, I love hearing people's complaints on it because it gives me a different perspective to be honest and I love those. I'm glad no one is offended though - I have weird opinions sometimes, such as wishing Paige and Chris had the power of telekenisis but not telekinetic orbing. I feel their witch sides should have been more dominant than their whitelighter ones, given they were Charmed.

Wasn’t Chris’s power full telekinesis?

That was his witch power, unlike Paige, whose so-called hybrid power was just a whitelighter version of Prue's power as proven by the fact that Chris didn't get it. They also both had all of the whitelighter powers.

They also both had all of the whitelighter powers. So annoying. When it came to hybrid powers, felt like the writers just did whatever they wanted and fitted the episode and story. Personally, wished they restricted the powers more. I never liked that the children of whitelighters could have all the whitelighter powers and they worked well. It just took away how special being a whitelighter is. Really wished they'd get a single power, that has limits, because they truly not a full whitelighter or earned them. But, I know most fans loved all the powers and hybrid powers and having powers is what excites most fans about Charmed.
