Okay, since we were discussing this in the other thread and all, according to Wiki.
Piper and Leo:

I've checked multiple sites for this. I feel like because Kern wrote this that Wyatt, Chris and Melinda are the new Power of Three, according to canon while if it had been Connie, the new Power of Three should have actually been PJ, Parker and Peyton given what Prue said in season 1 to Andy.

I wouldn't trust the names the Wiki gives with a grain of salt. None of those names are canon, even if the wiki and comics say so.
I'm never thought the Power of Three would transfer and have a new set with the children since the prophecy always made it appear that it started and ended with the three Halliwell sisters (Prue/Piper/Phoebe and then Paige replacing Prue).
But if it does, it should be Phoebe's daughters.
And, if they did they can't have a new power three until one of the sisters dies, or generations into the future, when all of them have passed are long gone.

Its not just the wiki, I've seen it on numerous sites to be honest, so this is canon but people are welcome to give their own names but these are the names in canon.

Sometimes something fanon and not canon makes its way all over the web, and ends up being taken as canon when it isn't. That is like Charisma Carpenter audition for Paige Matthews, when she was still and had no intention of leaving her female lead role on Angel in its second season at the time. A fact, I've never heard of while the show was airing in 2001, but suddenly it was mentioned years after the show ended, and suddenly it it taken as a fact. But, people are perfectly fine with giving the children names. It just wasn't ever made canon, since the names were never mentioned in the flashforwards. Even if the shooting script Granny Charmed shared mentioned names. |

I sort of take it as canon but I won't begrudge someone who doesn't. It's just I don't agree with all the names either. Like I genuinely think Henry Jr, is a bit of a strange name for a son.

Those are the names from the comics. The comics aren't canon. But a lot of fans use them as their own head canon, so they've become fanon.
But it's not right to use fanon as answers to questions since not all fans have access to the comics, the way the Wiki does. They also think both Melindas are the same. They aren't, since Morality Bite's Melinda is Wyatt's age, not their "sister".

In my personal opinion, the names that the wiki chose sucked. I hated the names they gave for Phoebe's and Paige's children, that's why I make up names for them.
Piper's children's names are ones that I can accept since it was the boys names that are in the series and I would assume that Piper would have called her daughter Melinda, however, I would have loved if Melinda had Lilian (Leo's former wife) as her middle name, to represent his former life so her name would be Melinda Lilian Halliwell.
I would assume that Phoebe would call her daughter Prudence, however I don't like Joanna as her middle name, nor do I like Parker and Peyton, there is so many beautiful names that start with P. I don't like Paige's daughters names either. I liked Henry Mitchell but I would rather him be called Henry Mitchell II.

They don't even use the word 'combust' for fire starters, and they are the ones that *actually* combust things!! Also, I forget which point, but they changed the effects with Piper's blowing things up. Initially there was no fire involved - I feel like somewhere in season six or seven it changed to having a fire effect. Which do you prefer, in terms of effect? LOL, you can tell how long it's been since I've watched anything from S6-8 - I totally forgot that they ever actually used fire in those effects! Maybe they read enough fanfics to know that fans called it molecular combustion and that's what they turned it into. No, I definitely prefer the earlier effects. Save fire for the demons and fire-starters like Tyler! |
