Hello, new member here!
I've noticed there's a lot of threads talking about the individual power developments of each sister but (at least from what i can tell) no discussions about what the power of three abilties could be so I kind of wanted to talk about it.
I personally think it would have been interesting to see how the sisters as a collective could have maybe had abilties, not anything too strong mind you, but powers that could grow as their bond did it.
For example, a telepathic connection with each other which I think was kind of touched on in the comics? Maybe initially they would have to touch each other to initate the connection, then be in close proximity to each other and eventually they could maintain the connection through a longer distance.
Another idea I had was a shield, kind of similiar to the one in that one episode, again they would have to be together but they could create a shield together. I also thought of maybe accessing each other's powers through touch, but I'm iffy on that one.
I don't know, these are just some suggestions, I'd be interested to see if anyone else has really thought about this and had their own ideas.

Welcome to the board!
I just watched How to Make a Quilt Out of Americans, and the communication between Prue and Phoebe while fighting the demon at the gas station seemed somewhat telepathic to me. Not in that they could read each other's thoughts or send messages via their minds, but just in that they were really in tune with each other. That may not be exactly what you're talking about, but their close connection and communication without words in that episode really struck me.
A shield is a fun idea too. I wouldn't want them to be so powerful that nothing feels like a threat anymore, but some kind of way that they could have physical protection when they're all together would be cool. Perhaps it would be limited, though, so they wouldn't be immune from all danger.
I personally wouldn't want them to have access to each other's powers. I liked the personal and individual bond that each sister had with her own power, and I thought it presented another way for them to have to lean on and trust each other, having to rely on the others to be able to use their own power effectively.

There was the time in season 5 when Piper, Phoebe, and Paige lost their senses and they learned to communicate with one another using a sixth sense almost that was cool watching and something which would've been nice had it been touched on again.

In a virtual series I was a part of, we had twins instead of Wyatt. And when together, they could use a force field like Wyatt had.
But in some ways, I think the "Power of Three" spell is their "shield." It was used rarely, but that did act as a type of protection.
But you make a great point. It would have been great to see a more collective approach to their powers. But, also, that would require them to be more collective, and in the later seasons, they weren't.
As Elle mentioned, there was some sort of communication in their fighting and defense. I think we saw it a few times with the original sisters. They grew up together. They practiced or talked it out. (I think Ms. Hellfire and Blinded By The Whitelighter we hear them plan before doing it.)

I do like the idea of them being in tune with each other, the telepathic connection was based on the idea that it would develop over time to the point where if one of them was seperated from the others they could still communicate and even find each other. As for the shield, for me it sort of stemmed from the idea of them being the protectors of the innocent, while the shield could protect them it could also be used to protect innocents in danger (again, only if all three of them were together). Also I imagine there would be limits, for example if one of them lost concetration it would be broken or a powerful demon could also break it. And yeah, them accessing each other's powers was more of a passing thought than something I really want to see. The other two though, I think would have been nice touches.
