Rose publicaly went out on Alyssa years ago in an interview saying she doesn't like her. So this doesn't surprise me. And she did a new social media live Q&A and yeah you can tell she doesn't like her and doesn't care about her. Makes me wonder if she really was close at all while Charmed was filming, as she spoke about when the question of Alyssa came up saying do you have to like your co workers you worked with and like all their opinions and be friends. So a reunion was never likely going to happen. I just sadly think that it won't happen ever as much as we'd want one. Of course I'm talking a reunion at a convention not a television or movie of Charmed reunion. It's sad that Charmed isn't like many other shows where the whole cast gets along so well and does lots of reunions and get togethers at events. Sadly our show isn't one of them.  |

I've never seen Rose like this before in that video. I can see why they are not up for a reunion at some event. Sad really, because the Sabrina cast did a huge reunion and managed to get at least 100 cast and crew members reunited earlier this year, sad Charmed just wasn't that kind of cast and crew behind the scenes. Won't matter, it won't affect my enjoyment of the on-screen series of course, just a little sad that it is what it is.
Wow! That was very eye-opening. I get why they are not on speaking terms.
It makes me wonder, if the cast was truly getting along, we probably may have gotten a true revival and not a reboot a few years back, but that ship has sailed long ago.

Yeah, it is a shame, Jean, compared to reunion pictures seen of the '90s Sabrina crew.
Even Buffy and Angel cast members are now and always have been on good terms with one another since their shows ended.

It's sad to hear that the Charmed cast just doesn't get along, compared to lots of other 90s shows. But, It is what it is.
Seems to me to most of the cast, it was just a job to them, and not many of them are truly that close after the show ended. But, to be honest, that is just like real life, we don't always get along with our co-workers, and it appears that is how it was between Rose and Alyssa.
But, I'll still always enjoy Charmed. Maybe it is best to distance yourself from all the off-camera bitterness and drama, and just appreciate them for the characters.
Separate actor from the character, and you'll be fine.

Yeah that seems to be a good way of trying to do it. Some fans really do take it too far, when they tag the stars in comments on social media over the drama they may or may not have behind the scenes. So embarrassing. We just don't know enough, only Rose has come out publicly to bash Alyssa, neither of the others have actually said anything openly, and just choosing to ignore each other, so we don't really know the real facts. But just keep focusing on Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige is the way to go, as you do Es. After all, the characters are the ones we admire and focus on more than anything than the actors. |
