I think season five would be perfect to introduce Drake. Show him hanging out with Cole. Helping the sisters and build up a true romance This would be cool. My idea is that the Elders would bring Drake back for Phoebe in season eight instead of "giving her" Coop. I'd have LOVED that over seeing Coop in Season Eight. |

I wouldn't mind him having powers, but I wouldn't want their kids to be half demon (if this is even possible). If so, maybe just shimmering? Drake could continue teaching at magic school with Paige/Leo. Maybe their children could be more easily influenced by evil? Since their father is a Demon? He does have a few "netural powers" which I would have loved him to keep. I love Shimmering but I would have loved if he had Conjuring or Thermal Blast (which I know is a power that is associated with Evil). This is something I actually wished the show explored more. I think in general season seven attempted to "blur the lines" between good and evil - with Drake, Kyra, The Avatars, etc. This is part of the reason I liked it so much. It reminds me of Astral Monkey in season two - it wasn't as simple as good and evil. Whereas Cole was basically always evil. But Kyra and Drake - both demons - showed they were capable of actually using their demonic powers for good. So yeah I agree with you. If we look at the idea of "free will" (another season seven concept) Drake exemplifies this. It would have been cool to see them navigate this. Just like the real world, ideas of good and evil aren't usually so cut and dry. Great topic!! |

I really liked Phoebe and Drake, and too bad it was short-lived, I'd have done it so Drake had a year left, so Phoebe and Drake can be together through to the last episodes and during season 8, and then his time is up, letting Phoebe be with her true love, and then maybe after he is gone, then she learns she's pregnant with her child and can raise that child as a single mother when the show ends.

Great idea Julian and better than having Coop on instead not that I have anything against Victor Webster who played him I just didn't like the way his character was written and how he was introduced as someone the Elders gifted to Phoebe just so she had her happy ending obviously.

Whatever negative nature that came out of Phoebe was her own doing and no one else's. I don't recall Cole being around when she and Paige had arranged Rick Gittridge's murder, which was the worst thing she and Paige had ever did.

Personally, I would want him to have powers but I'm not sure on how others would feel about that. I would love this. The elders bring drake back because of the battle coming. They know phoebe has lost her heart and therefore is weakend. He could help her find her self and her fight to beat the ultimate power. |
