This might be minor thing but I really loved the cranberry scene! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwl5RqWJnawWhat I loved most was seeing Prue, Piper and Phoebe smiling and dancing. Its a scene that captures what I loved about the sisters in early seasons, they always seemed to have a nice time and enjoy their life. Piper in particular stands out because seeing her here compared to later seasons it never occurred to me how much she rarely ever smiled or act as if she had a good time. Compare Piper smiling and laughing to this scene www.youtube.com/watch?v=8KMZHPNvkd4&t=80s where she laughs hysterically at being called mean jokingly. She always seemed to have this response a lot later follow by mean comments to people. I know it sounds silly, but the sisters dancing to the cranberries is one of my favorite scenes in Charmed.

Couldn't agree more. A fantastic sisterly ending. So nice to see them all dancing with their non magical boyfriends. Piper rarely smiled with Leo compared to her other love interests. We noticed this in our Cafe re-watch of S1 and S2.

Not silly at all. I've said for a very long time that them dancing to the Cranberries with their non-magical dates - just getting to have fun being young women *IS* my favorite scene on Charmed, followed closely by Prue and Piper watching Phoebe as she flies across the moon.

It's one of my favorite scenes too. I love seeing them so carefree and happy. There was always such pressure on them: being witches with a magical job to do, Piper struggling with her relationship with Leo, Phoebe struggling with her relationship with Cole, Prue struggling with her identity, their professional lives, the unseen effort of staying in shape and looking nice every day, etc. It's nice to see them just having fun.
I watched the clip from season 7 of Piper, and I agree, she's so different here. I don't expect her to be the same just because years have passed from season 2 to 7, and especially not because she's been through so much. But Drake is right, she is mean. It sounds so simplistic, but that's exactly what it is. She has reasons to be bitter and cynical, but she carries it with no grace whatsoever. Prue in her most unapproachable state was warmer than Piper in most of the later seasons.
