Something I've always wondered is how would everyone interpret Prue had she continued past season 3 like Piper and Phoebe what do you think would've been a trajectory for her? Some say she would've been to prideful, and to some extent I can agree. One thing to note is how Season 3 also focused on her being the most innocent focused. I also think she would've gotten along with Paige as well.

Since the changes in Piper is very obviously what Brad Kern thinks the Oldest should be like (and as an Oldest, I'm insulted!) I'm quite certain that Prue would be just like Piper - Poor, Poor Pitiful Prue.
It's why I'm so glad she died when she did. I was starting to dislike her; I'm glad I never reached the point where I hated her like I do S4-8 Piper and Phoebe.

Under Brad Kern, I'm sure I'd hate her as much as I hated Piper and Phoebe. As Es said, I too am glad she died when she did.
But, looking at it without thinking about how Kern would have made us hate her. I do think, Prue, would be the one to notice Cole is acting shady right away, and her sisters or at least Piper would believe her. I don't see her wanting to vanquish Billie and Christy.

The whole plot of Phoebe and Cole turning evil would have been a lot more intense if Prue was still around. I can't even imagine how angry she'd be.
But I agree with others that it would have ruined her character eventually. The show just lasted too long. It's funny because when I watched it as a teenager, I hoped that it would last as long as possible. Now I think the opposite.

I also think she would've gotten along with Paige as well. Since you mentioned Paige, I'm curious. Are you considering what would've happened had Piper or Phoebe been the one who died, since if one of them didn't die, we never would've needed/met Paige? If one of her sisters had died, I'm sure Prue would be blaming herself for what happened and become SuperPrue, wanting to kill every demon in sight. As for Paige, I agree Prue would get along with her (as long as Paige did what Prue wanted her to do, which as an Only Child [NEVER the baby, even if she's the youngeat), I don't think Paige would do and their battles could be fun] but although Prue would accept her as part of the Power of Three, I don't think she'd ever accept her as a sister - part of her blaming herself for not protecting the sister who died. Unlike her sisters, she'd never forget the one who died because the only way she'd be part of it would be if Kern wasn't!

S3 was all about pouring herself into their destiny and needing to be reminded that they are not invincible and that she needs to live life. Therefor I think that S4 would've had Prue trying to calm down and find herself. After a season of supporting her sisters love lives, she likely would've finally gotten a love interest that could be long term.
Had Phoebe still become Queen of the Underworld it probably would've broken Prue's heart that her baby sister was corrupted by evil. She probably would've started off by thinking Phoebe couldnt be saved but ending with her doing anything to save her soul.

Prue still could have died at the end of season 3 and stayed on the show in spirit form as a cast member or stuck on the ghostly or astral plane. Phoebe turning evil could have been to save her or revive her somehow. That may have let Shannen and Alyssa avoid scenes together for that year. I wouldn't mind Paige still being introduced. I liked Phoebe's premonitions and levitation but she never contributed much of anything, so they could have just stripped her powers.

If Prue lived post season 3 she might've started becoming someone under Kernus's direction who fans didn't like so I'm glad she was killed in 'All Hell Breaks Loose'.
Were all 3 sisters around Prue may've been more prideful and known something bad was off about Cole after 'Charmed And Dangerous' proving her theory of once a demon always a demon true then.
Phoebe becoming evil would've affected Prue with her doing everything she could to get her back.
Had Piper or Phoebe died instead Prue would've been angry like Piper going after demons becoming the Fury and like Piper had a hard time accepting Paige firstly but get to know and like her then over time.
She'd teach Paige her powers and still been the motivator in terms of protecting the innocent still.
With Cole and Phoebe, if she existed instead of Piper that would be the same as what I commented above Prue trying everything she could to get her sister back.
Season 5 onwards I'd hope Prue calmed down and perhaps found someone long term accepting who she was but know that wouldn't happen obviously.
She'd probably find out Chris's identity earlier than Phoebe but then try to kill Christie the same as Piper another reason I'm glad she weren't around then also.

Also remember that Shannen was highly involved in the shows direction and attempting to ensure that the show had a certain quality to it so I dont think she would've allowed anyone to really push Prue into something that she didn't believe Prue would do.

Also remember that Shannen was highly involved in the shows direction and attempting to ensure that the show had a certain quality to it so I dont think she would've allowed anyone to really push Prue into something that she didn't believe Prue would do. I think she would've given in - otherwise she would've been fired just a half-season past when she was. Women weren't allowed to disagree back then. Besides, she was turning into the Power of One and even a bit of Poor, Poor Pitiful Prue in Season 3, which is when I started disliking her like I did at the beginning of the series. I truly believe that had she stuck around Piper wouldn't have gotten her explosion power so she would've remained the true heart of the family and her and Leo's love story would've been my favorite storyline while Poor, Poor Pitiful Prue would annoy me while I'd still hate PhoeME acting like a crushing tweenager around Cole. The only thing I see as different is that when Prue realized that Cole was either possessed by the Source or by his power with the power going to his head (as I believe) and she told her sisters, unlike what happened with canon Paige, Piper and Phoebe would've believed Prue. That's the one thing I can't see Shannen allowing to be done differently, and I think Holly and Alyssa would side with her over Kern on that, that that would be totally out of character for their characters. And just think how wonderfully different the rest of Cole and Phoebe's storyline may have been with Prue talking her sisters into either exorcising the Source or his powers out of Cole. That would mean no Queen Phoebe and no Phoetus and no Demonic Wasteland and most important of all, no Stalker Cole! For me, that would've been fantastic!

I think brad kern already had his ideas laid out ... it would unfortunately look like season 4. maybe prue would have been deprived of her powers since she used them on mortals. maybe not. however i would have preferred that shannen left the series at the end of season 4 once the source was killed. because the source killed after 13 episodes (for paige) ... seriously .. or that prue and the Source fight each other by not letting her sisters help her much because she is overprotecting. Prue is killed during the fight but gravely injures the Source which we will not see for several years.
