What is Phoebe's Worst Season?

I got inspiration from thecharmedcafe.proboards.com/thread/13000/pipers-worst-season?page=1&scrollTo=486084 like with Piper's thread what do you find to be the worst of Phoebe? This can culminate to when you disliked her the most (such as any moment in the show where you found you really didn't like her the most at all) which season displays the worst of her. And when it comes to define the term "worst" well it can mean different things. Answer based on what you think and explain your reasoning. 

As for me I'm going with Season 6 and Season 7. With Season 6 I hated Phoebe's empathy power and she somehow became worse despite having empathy, constantly whining how everyone else's feelings were inconveniencing her own and using her empathy to personally intrude on her sister's problems, while projecting said problems onto herself. Every single time Phoebe is using empathy its always just there so she can complain on how people's feelings are inconveniencing her own or narrate how others feel. Using her powers to intrude on Piper/Paige's personal lives, then butting in to give them unwanted advice. And when she narrates scene everything explain is already blatantly shown to us! Also that jingle gets so grating after being repeated over and over. In Season 7 her obsession with work is at its worst. She obsesses over her column is at her worst in this season, especially in episodes like Scry Hard which just made me hate Phoebe more. Seasons 4 and 5 are backup contenders. 

That would kind of work as an example. Even though its my personal list.

I can't vote because I think PhoeME's worst "season" is from 'Sleuthing with the Enemy' to 'Forever Piper' I mean 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Charmed'. I hate her in all 5, unlike Piper where I actually liked her a few times.

I agree, although I thought she was okay in the first half of season 4. Not her best, but just okay. I wish she had mourned more for Prue, but I liked how welcoming and friendly she was to Paige. Also she didn't have a job here, which kept her off her high horse a bit. She and Cole made the best team in this time period as well.

I voted for S5 & S8. But, I'm surprised to see S1 & S2 in the "Top 3" for "worst" Phoebe seasons. I didn't expect that, from this board :/

I thought you liked Phoebe in "The Eyes Have It" - I know you enjoy that episode but perhaps not Phoebe in it.

why 2? I'm curious to hear your opinions. For me it's the 3 where she doesn't believe Prue at all, she lies to her sisters, and comes back to see Cole again in the finale. Then on the 4th she starts again with Paige and turns squarely against her sisters.

I thought you liked Phoebe in "The Eyes Have It" - I know you enjoy that episode but perhaps not Phoebe in it.

No, I like her in it, but liking her in a single episode isn’t enough to make me like her in the full season, especially when it’s part of my least-favorite storyline – Phoebe and Cole obsessed with each other, turning both into worst characters at the end of the storyline, not better. Not my idea of a love story. It’s part of why I hate Cole – being obsessed over him turned my favorite sister into my least-favorite one.

Had Cole been a full demon or a full warlock and when Phoebe found out, she vanquished him, then I'd like the storyline. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as they made him a half, turning someone who had been a mercenary demon for almost a century into a hero, they ruined what to me should've been the best villain on the entire series.

This is totally fair! I have always loved this episode too - it is a nice flash of Phoebe being concerned about innocents, her sisters, and recognizing that she needs to address how her powers are messed up from being so distracted.

I think I've said this before but I wish the gypsy's had of remained in the show - I loved all 3 of them we saw that episode, especially how willing they were to help the Charmed Ones and teach them their gypsy ways.

Yes. Sadly the show has a habit of ditching good ideas and expanding upon bad ones (haha).

I have a love/hate relationship with S4 Phoebe. I do like her and Cole before Charmed and Dangerous. They were great. Sometimes I wonder if Cole just keeping Belthazor under control would've been better than going mortal and if they had the Source possessing him after the vanquish, with Phoebe having to make the tough decision to vanquish the love of her life in order to get rid of the Source who was possessing his body. With Cole's character never coming back after this. Phoebe would then have a part of Cole live through her baby which she gives birth to in S5 over Piper. I somewhat like the idea of her being the one to be a mother first over Piper, with Piper finally having a child much later on. It gives Piper more hopes and aspirations to work towards, since her character feels pretty much complete by S6 with nothing really left to achieve and work towards.
