I saw Granny Charmed did a Grams one, so I'm doing a Patty one. Copying how Granny Charmed set up that thread, as I liked it.
What were your favorite two or three episodes featuring Patty? What was your standout moment with Patty? Favorite Patty/daughter/s/mother moments? |

I chose That '70s Episode and Just Harried.
'70s: I loved the instant chemistry between the actresses who played the three sisters, Patty, and Penny. It was the first time they had all been together, and they instantly felt like a family. I also liked how getting to see Patty was treated as something special. It became too common in the later parts of the show to have dead family members come back. In this episode, getting to spend time with her seemed sacred.
Harried: One of my favorite scenes of the whole show is when Patty appears to Piper, and then Prue and Phoebe join them. The scene is just perfect. I also loved Patty's role in trying to console Piper, and then realizing she has to lean on Victor for help, finally allowing the two of them to be parents together in a way they hadn't in a long time.

Welcome, Too Much Coffee, and congrats on a great poll!
Patty's my favorite Charmed character (I originally wanted my display name to be Patty, but all versions of it was already taken) so this was hard. But I chose 'From Fear to Eternity', 'That Seventies Episode' and 'Forever Crap', I mean 'Forever Piper', I mean 'Forever Charmed'. I love how she saved Prue in FFTE, just love her in TSE, and she's the ONLY character I like in FC! If I had 5 choices, 'Just Harried' and 'Charmed Again, Part 2' would be right behind these.

Too hard to pick just three. But I'm going with 70s, Just Harried and From Fear to Eternity.
As for favorite moments with Patty. Definitely the hug in Just Harried and Patty and Phoebe meeting outside the diner.

Oh, YES! I totally missed the part about the favorite moments with Patty. Patty and Phoebe meeting is absolutely my favorite! Right behind it is Patty hugging her daughters in 'That 70s Episode' and in 'Just Harried' and her hugging Paige while Piper and Phoebe watch. Directly behind them is her saving Prue in 'From Fear to Eternity'.

My choices we're That 70's Episode and Just Harried because I liked Patty's character then and her interactions with Prue, Piper, and Phoebe.
My favourite moments are when she and Phoebe talk outside Buddy's in That 70's Episode and when Patty hugs her children in Just Harried.

LOL, I love your Charmed mug, too! A friend got me a Charmed t-shirt for Christmas with a bunch of sayings. Unfortunately, most of them are from S4-8. Oh, well. I DO have the Charmed: Book of Shadows game which features the first set of Charmed Ones and all of the bad guys/gals from S1-2 - perfect for me! I'm first to admit that I might change my mind before the poll is done as I read other people's responses. I always forget that Finola Hughes did not play Patty in "Thank You For Not Morphing" or "From Fear To Eternity".
I want to give some love to Finola Hughes. She was really stellar in 'Charmed', a lot better than many guest stars which is funny because she is the one who is the 'soap opera' actress.

Me too, she did a really good job on Charmed, and she is one of my favorite actresses from Charmed. And, by far my most favorite actor, I've ever gotten a reply from with a fan mail letter back in the day, when I wrote to most of the cast, she replied back with a lengthy reply. Yeah, she did do a few soap show, but did do another Spelling show right before Charmed. I also remember her from the show How Do I Look?.
One of my most wanted/wished happened episodes was a what if episode (alternate universe) where Patty didn't die, and the girls were raised by Patty, and she was alive to see them become the Charmed Ones, just to kinda see how different their lives would be. Although, once Prue died and Shannen left, I'm not too sure, I'd have wanted one done without her, if it was set in S4-S8, I thought of this after I first saw Just Harried.

I absolutely LOVED her on "How Do I Look?" I was tempted to go on the show just so I could give her a copy of my 'Forever Charmed' rewrite where Patty stars (she's the only character I like on that episode). I didn't because I like me as me even if I dress more like the "befores" than the "afters". But I *was* tempted. If I knew back then that she answers fan mail, I would've sent a copy to her.

WOW Es, I really wished you did get to send that to her, especially since she answers fan mail. I guess the trivia on her IMDB page really fits. The fact she received more than any of the stars, and she actually replies back to people and with long replies, really makes me think highly of her, and how much she cares about her fans. This trivia was obviously added when the show was running and during S1-S3. I have seen an episode or two of "How Do I Look?", and she was really great in it. |
