No, that's what fans may have wanted, but CBS wanted it similar to the current rip-off - set in the 70s with three witches not related to the Halliwells. If the last few years have taught us anything, it's that major networks are clueless. Yeah, and all they seem to be doing these days is making reboots, and I haven't found something on television that I've connected with. Don't you think, everything lately has already been done before, or it is reboot, revive or they borrow something from a popular book series.

I agree about the networks. They don't seem to make much that connects emotionally with me anymore, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Even when Charmed was still airing, the network and a lot of those in charge of the show didn't seem to understand how to handle it. The people who watched it for the sex appeal are long gone. Those of us who were fans of what the show did best and was truly about--family, sisterhood, love, magic integrating with normal life--are all still here.

I absolutely LOVED her on "How Do I Look?" I was tempted to go on the show just so I could give her a copy of my 'Forever Charmed' rewrite where Patty stars (she's the only character I like on that episode). I didn't because I like me as me even if I dress more like the "befores" than the "afters". But I *was* tempted. If I knew back then that she answers fan mail, I would've sent a copy to her. I so wished you could have Es, as I'm sure she'd have answered your fan mail. I so hope she attends future Charmed cons, as I'd love to hear more stories she has about Charmed and Patty. Es, you should get on twitter! The 'Charmed' Fandom is amazing, and I've gotten responses from everyone I have reached out to: Shannen, Holly, Rose, Alyssa, and Jennifer Rhodes. I also had a good convo with Nell Scovell (who is a woman people!!) about her time working on the show. Finola is definitely on twitter!! I will say the twitter fandom has been a little *dark* lately with everything going on with the actresses... but it's starting to get back to it's regular self.

I'm very happy to hear you have pleasant conversations with them on twitter. I know, they are cool with their fans. I don't have twitter, just not my thing at all, especially to talk about Charmed, when I find you have more meaningful conversations on a forum without a character limit. Although, I don't think Es will be able to share her fanfic to Finola over twitter!! Simply impossible to do so. But, I'd love if we could reach out to Connie, Sheryl, Chris or Zack (one of our favorite writers) but it seems like they have moved on from the show. I don't know much about Nell Scovell, but I wasn't a big fan of most of her episodes she wrote, but she seems really cool with the fans, what was her experience like on the show forbuss , and did she mention anything about others writers, Shannen, or what it was like writing for the sisters?

I think the last good show to come out that I watched was "unREAL" on lifetime. Highly recommend it!
