Name your 3 favorite and least favorite Darryl episodes

Unlike those threads, where we were asked for five, I'm going to drop that number down to just 3, seeing as it may be harder to even come up with more than 2 or 3.

I honestly am not sure. I think Darryl is someone I really take for granted in the series. I also think that the show could have used him in a better way - I think sometimes they gave him more interesting scenes. I'd say my favourite episodes with Darryl are the ones that also feature Sheila, but here is my list:

This may change as we continue our re-watches, but having just re-watched 'All Halliwell's Eve', that's GOTTA be my all-time favorite Darryl episode!

Another one would be 'Ms. Hellfire' when the he first finds out abut the Charmed Ones.

My least-favorite Darryl Episodes have to be any S6 episode that includes him. man, they treated him horribly!

Darryl is a character I really loved, and in many ways they used him very well (especially 1-3), but in others I really wished they used him more, or rather differently. So my favourites are ones where I really like how he was utilised-- although when I was going down the list, I was pleasantly surprised how much episodes I like how he was used, because I thought I'd possibly struggle.

My favourites:

1. All Hallow's Eve. This has got to be my favourite Darryl episode, which makes sense because it's also one of my favourite Charmed episodes entirely. But I really loved Leo and his interactions in this.

2. Ms Hellfire. I recently re-watched this, and poor Darryl was so far out of his depth.

3. Charmed and Dangerous. There was many episodes I struggled to pick from for this place-- Sin Francisco coming close to winning-- but ultimately I decided on this because this episode is a perfect example of how I like him being used, and you can see how much he genuinely cares about the sisters in this episode. This is also the reason I was tempted to put A Witch's tail, because I love him helping Phoebe, and that was seriously one of the only good factors about that episode.

My least favourites:

1. Valhalley of the Dolls. I think this is pretty self explanatory.

2. It's a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World. I think this is more because of my general problems with this episode itself because I don't like the bad Darryl, but that's the set ups fault more than anything.

3. Crimes & Witch Demeanors. I hate hate hate this episode. I think it's awful, and pointless, and just shows everything that is wrong with how Charmed became. And I really really really hate that the show did that poor Darryl: no one should have to endure that, especially someone as sweet as Darryl.

Daryl was always so misused. I would've loved more situations with him, especially since he was the closest mortal they had that were considered family.

1. Valhalley of Dolls (This one is very obvious)

As a side note any Daryl appearance in Seasons 6 or 7 would apply, the way they treat him in both Seasons are horrible! Especially since in Season 7 they never take consideration for anything they ever did to him and just act entitled when he's not there to help them (such as Paige's "How can he not answer?" line in Death Becomes Them) While they are worse to Daryl in Season 6 I don't think anyone ever mentions they were almost as equally as bad to him in season 7.

I hated the way poor Daryl was treat in the last three seasons. While Daryl had his doubts about magic (even more than Piper) he still felt like he was always willing to help them of his own free will. Even when the Halliwells asked not to. Think of All Halliwell's Eve, where him wanting to help got him blind by the Grimlocks, or how he was willing to knock out Inspector Cortez because they were going through a hard time. However the moment Season 6 begins its like the writers forgot Daryl was suppose to be their friend, because they straight up use magic on him despite him clearly advising against it.

Paige and Phoebe just callously steal his soul and have it fight for his life in Valhalla. Also he gets thrown around afterwards too. Or how in Season 7 the Halliwells expect him to just "get over" his bad experience in Crimes and Witches Demeanors. They were even entitled enough to just expect him to help them regardless how he felt about it, which was the complete opposite in earlier seasons, where he was the mortal ally who just didn't like being around magic, yet didn't mind help them. For instance when Daryl and his family get ready to pack, Paige calls Daryl, yet when he doesn't answer her response is "How can he not answer" as if he's expected to do it!

I found Phoebe the worse about it compared to all the sisters though because she told Daryl he needed to "pick a side" between them an Sheridan, completely disregarding his disinterest in helping them has nothing to do with sides, he just happened to get stuck working with Sheridan.

It also expects you to make Shelia feel like the bad guy for advising Daryl to move away when she finds out, yet she's completely justified.
