Prue has the power of astral projection and I found it very cool. Phoebe used astral premonition in The Eyes Have It and I thought it was awesome, unfortunately she didn't use it anymore except with avatars and it sucked. And after that everyone used astral projection like Prue, it was really bad.
Imagine that this does not happen and that each sister has her own version of astral power. What would have had piper? I think with the power of three, the sisters could have physically time traveled like Billie by combining their astral powers.

Interesting topic... I am trying to think how Piper's power would fit.
Maybe since Piper could freeze time she could also manipulate time and space by sending her astral self to the past or future.

She could use astral projection to will herself in a premonition and save future innocents that way

Nope, astral projections don't work that way.
But then again, when you astral project, no one can see you and you can only observe. Prue definitely did more as did the second set of Charmed Ones.
So maybe Phoebe could.
But by that point, she didn't care much about protecting innocents - only finding the guy who could provide the sperm so she could have Ladybug (who cares about love? She certainly didn't), so I doubt if she'd even think about using astral projection that way.

I downright hated when the show made it so anyone could Astral Project like Prue did or that it could be taught. Prue's astral projection was an extension of her powers, any other AP should've been different.

Me too I really hate I think I explained badly but I like astral premonition in the eyes have it and I'm wonder what kind of extension power piper would have.

It was a lazy way to try to do a nod to Prue. This would have been the last episode if it wasn't for that last-minute pick-up, and that is what it was meant to be.
I hated it, and it was hardly playing homagee to Prue, but an insult.

Yeah Phoebes advanced premonition was great and it's a shame the writers dropped it so fast. They missed the opportunity to have Phoebe get stuck in a premintion.

I assume a spell was used to astral project for the other sisters. It is extremely common in literature with witchcraft for Astral projection to be learned via spell casting. In this show people put to much care on the active abilities when truth be told their strongest ability is their spellcraft. If I am not mistaken pretty much all the sisters powers could be achieved via a spell.

If that had been the case or a potion was used instead for the sisters to astral project, which was mentioned in conversation after the Magic School scene in the season 7 finale which it wasn't I would've accepted that but not that Prue taught Leo how to do it as you either had that power or not then otherwise people would say why couldn't Paige freeze or blow up things or why couldn't Phoebe orb other than if their powers were copied or switched like in Love Hurts obviously.

And after that everyone used astral projection like Prue, it was really bad. Astral Projection was made very clear in S1, that it's a learnable power 'cause Rex had been working on learning how to do it, back in S1E9 "The Witch is Back". And, Phoebe confirms it (kind of), that Rex messed with her perception of him (along with her premonition of Prue), as "astral projection". S5E7 "Sympathy for the Demon" seemed to have put a spell that makes you astral project like Prue. Along with a fellow demon, with Barbas, in Pergatory, taught Barbas how to astral project. S6E14 "The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell" Mrs. Winterbourne seemed to have that power, naturally and then taught it to Ms. Donovan (according to Ms. Donovan's dialogue, in S7E14 "Carpe Demon"). That same episode (via S6E14 "The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell"), Zach's telepathy can tap into other people's powers and was able to astral project, that way. The only thing about astral projection I ABSOLUTELY hate, and it's not the power itself, but some off point that Prue taught Leo how to astral project, and that's how the Charmed Ones were able to astral project in S7E22 "Something Wicca This Way Goes". No, it would've made more sense, if Ms. Donovan or even Mrs. Winterbourne teaching them on how to do it. You would think Leo would've taught them how to astral project, a long time ago, if he knew how to do it 🙄 THAT part is what upsets me, the most 'cause it makes NO sense!
