Do you think the Charmed Ones should have been able to ask for a reward they wanted instead of just being told, "you can stop being witches, take it or leave it."
It would've been the perfect moment to address Prue. The sisters could at least ask to bring her back and the Angel could explain why it's impossible. Either because her soul is at peace or better yet, has been reincarnated (a good in-universe reason why they never summon her ghost). It would've brought so much closer to the sisters and us as the audience.
After that, they could ask to give Piper the ability to conceive. Resolving the subplot they set up in the previous episode. The trade-off could be really poignant, too. Piper has to choose between a normal life without kids or the chance to have kids who are magical.
If the reward could be anything, what would you want them to do with it?

I would have loved to see some form of negotiations between the Angel of Destiny and The Charmed Ones. I would have loved it if they were allowed to use personal gain spells in order to keep up appearances and nothing else.
I would have preferred the answer to "Why couldn't they summon Prue's ghost?" to be that she had moved on in the afterlife with thanks to Grams and Patty since my explanation to why they can summon them is because that they wanted to stay back to help guide The Charmed Ones, since I hated the way that Prue was reincarnated in the comics and I don't see them as cannon.
That whole storyline was a missed opportunity, maybe the sisters had their powers stripped so they can sense what an ideal week would be without vanquishing demons and protecting innocents, with them at the beginning doing everything they have ever wanted to do but as the week goes on they realise that they don't really like the whole "normal" life aspect.

I don't like his offer especially since there was a spell in the book to erase their power and erase the book. I would have preferred that an angel of destiny had enough power to bring back to life the person of their choice. Paige wouldn't be against of course but would be afraid of being rejected and losing her place. She would also be afraid of what would happen to her powers. At the end of the episode, the sisters think that Prue has moved on and decides to bring back the innocent who was allegedly killed during the episode by a mortal.

It doesn't sound very healthy, but I'd like for them to bring Prue back. There could be a lot explored with Piper trying to decide if she wants to bring her sister back or ask for the ability to be able to get pregnant. And Phoebe could deal with her feelings of acknowledging that as much as she loved Prue, they didn't get along a lot of the time and deal with her guilt over those feelings, and perhaps that she'd just rather continue moving on. And Paige could be afraid Piper and Phoebe would forget about her if Prue was back.
Ideally it would end up where they all get what they want anyway. Prue comes back, Piper finds out she's pregnant despite the odds against her, Prue ends up having a lot of respect for Phoebe who at this point has vanquished Cole and is ready to move on, and Prue and Paige bond over magic and Paige isn't excluded in any way.

I like your idea about asking for something want, instead of being told they can stop being witches, take it or leave it. I also like the idea of Piper choosing between a normal life with no kids, or her Charmed life with kids.

I haven't read the comics but I've read of them, if that makes sense. I'm not a fan of how Prue was handled, it just seems so unfair and doesn't make a huge amount of sense.
The spell to relinquish their powers is always an option, you're right, Gold. And we see later that they could even create whole new identities. I guess the only benefit of the Angel's offer was erasing any lingering threats like the FBI investigating them.
Bringing Prue back would definitely be complex emotionally speaking, especially for Paige. She wouldn't mean to but how could she not fear being replaced and basically kicked out of the family if she's not needed? And Piper and Phoebe are already well into their grief/acceptance/moving on. It's maybe a bit much to reopen that wound.
It could be done in a really strange way where they get Prue back... through reincarnation... as Piper's baby. Too weird? Kinda gross? I'm not sure I would've actually liked that. Although there is a precedent for it within the family (Piper's past life as Grams' mother). It would make the "it's a boy!" reveal that much more of a surprise and honestly, I could accept all-powerful Wyatt a little easier if he was once Prue.

They could also ask for something like the ability to still be witches but with the Power of Three officially retired, or something like that, so they wouldn't be targeted so much but could still save innocents. Or perhaps the ability to do magic as they needed to, but with a complete protection against exposure. So it would now be impossible for their magic to be caught on video, for instance, and if people saw something they shouldn't have, it would be immediately wiped from their minds.
I also like the idea of them getting paid in some way to be witches. Perhaps they could choose to be full-time witches in exchange for always being financially secure or something, if they chose. That way maybe Phoebe could just be a witch, which I think was her true calling, and she wouldn't have to worry about balancing it with a job or feeling less than her sisters who earned money.

Good point on the "less than her sisters because they earned money" thing. That was definitely an issue for Phoebe in Season 2.
