A movie is being released this year and the main character has the ability to get visions whilst she is asleep, I have been thinking how cool it would have been for Phoebe to been able to get premonitions like that in her sleep. I personally liked Phoebes need of some kind of "energy" to get a premonition. I think she could get a premonition in her sleep if there is that energy...im kind of surprised they never did an episode where she gets one in her sleep.
I think the advanced premonitions that were in color and allowed her to "astral project" into them was so good and sad that it never was fully realized. Does she choose the short and safe premonition or risk herself for a stronger more detailed premonition.

I liked that too, I just thought it was really cool that the character in that movie dream-world would totally transform, I think that would have been really cool for Phoebe. A cool idea (at least to me) would be she's struggling to get a clear premonition at the area where the last witch was killed, ends up driving home then she crashes Prue's car going into a coma where she has hellish premonitions about the Source then she awakes and tells Prue, Piper, Cole and Leo that the threat they are dealing with is bigger than they imagined. |

The only time she did was that psychic connection to Darla from She's a Man Baby a Man. She felt what she did in her dreams. Not the same. I'd like it but only if it wasn't so random where she just had dreams that were visions. I kinda find the whole premonitions or visions in dreams is a cliche trope so many shows and movies have done. I personally prefer a form of Astral Projection where she gets a better view and watch of it than visions in her dreams. Love CharmedFaith's idea as it comes with pros and cons and makes the decision making making more exciting. |

Didn't she kind of also have a dream premonition in Sand Francisco Dreaming? Technically, the Sandman grabbed her arm, offscreen, while she was sleeping, to help trigger a premonition. When, she "wakes up", we see, briefly, her arm is in the Sandman's grasp, and she pulls it away. |
