Phoebe's empathic extension

So in season6  premiere in one of the very first scenes, we see Phoebe summoning the trok demon without any spell  or scry or any other magical technique we've seen she just closed her eyes and pooof there he is. I've been thinking maybe it was her empathic powers growing or an alternative form of her empathy to track demons down by channeling their emotions or teleporting them to her when her emotions are triggered or something, i do believe the empathy power was not explained perfectly in season 6 and i didnt like how phoebe became the power of one, it was like prue all over again in season 3. I would love though to see her empathy developing by projecting deons to her but maybe not in the series premiere. Or it was something like preparing us for her newly acquired power? Anyway any thoughts ??

Yeah, S6 definitely made Phoebe's empathy powers fairly OP, to the point I choose Phoebe's empathy powers over all the powers we've seen. The ability to tap into the emotions of people using their powers against you, you can deflect it right back at them. Some (not all) people have told me that it's still a "slow" ability, but I disagree with that because we've seen Phoebe lunge multiple energy/fireballs back at demons trying to kill Jason. I think Phoebe was very quick in tapping into their emotions to throw back multiple emotional attacks back at them, but I digress.
