Prue/Brendan, Phoebe/Leo and Piper/Andy?

Okay so I was thinking something while rewatching s1.
Prue likes to be a little bit on the wild side because its more freeing but is a good person at heart. Brendan is a demon who wants to remain good. They felt perfect for each other and to me, felt like a better demon/witch couple than Phoebe/Cole.
Phoebe loves magic. Leo is a whitelighter. She would never complain on not having a normal life and they would do a much better job at protecting innocents together.
Piper wants a normal life. Andy does too, he said so that he'd love to come home to a normal household and couldn't handle the witchy part of Prue.

Am I the only one who felt Prue/Brendan, Piper/Andy and Phoebe/Leo would have been better?

I wouldn't want Prue and Brendan together. I thought they had nice chemistry, but I didn't care much for the religious angle, and I wouldn't want that to become a part of the show. Overall he was a good person but seemed too safe and boring for Prue.

I like Phoebe and Leo together, but only if Phoebe stays more of who she was in season 2, which I think was the best version of her. She definitely would have been a much better match for him, given that she liked magic and wouldn't have minded his involvement. 

I especially like the idea of Piper and Andy together. They had a very nice chemistry as well, and they both seemed to want the same things out of life. I'd love if Prue and Andy had just been friends growing up, and that he and Piper started dating a bit throughout season 1 after he moved back.

I like that idea too. I feel like Phoebe strayed a lot in large part due to Cole so if the Phoebe/Cole stuff was left out. Esmeralda's Dream Charmed does have me thinking of Prue/Cole though.

I'm pretty open minded, when it comes to ships, but I'mma need more explanation on why I'm seeing a lot of shipping for Piper & Andy because I don't see it.  However, I do have a long list of ships that I do (in fact) enjoy from S1.

I only thought of it because of the episode 'Power of Two' from season 1 where Andy is like that he cares about Prue but he just wants a normal life. Reminded me of Piper a lot.

I guess I can kind of see it.  But, what differs Andy from Piper is Andy was still putting his life on hold to help other people.  We see that in the same episode regarding The Power of Two.  He wants to stop evil.  Perhaps, during that moment in time, I can see Piper & Andy being somewhat of a thing but not for later episodes.  I enjoyed her chemistry with Josh more.

I can respect that. I feel it wasn't the part of protecting the innocent that bothered Piper though. It was the magic.

Fair.  I still think Andy would want some magic user to help protect the world from all kinds of evil including magical ones.  Hence, why he trusted Prue with the Jackson Ward info.  I think his desire to help was much stronger.  Even more than Prue's desire, during the episode (it, almost matched Phoebe's desire to help, of all the sisters), but I digress.
