Okay, it's far-fetched but I like a challenge. What if Prue was stuck in a time loop from when Leo healed her until she was killed by the military and not by Shax? Trapped by tempus? The Source ? anyone else for using their powers on mortals? This is the most dramatic episode for Prue and I find the idea cool.

This is a really fun idea.
I like the idea that she's unknowingly stuck there, and can only get out by doing things right: not putting her and her sisters in danger by using her powers in public, not using her powers on innocents, etc.
It would be really cool if she started to get deja vu and managed to fix all these things herself, and then got spit back out into season 4 at some point and Paige was already there.

It could make a hell of a fan fiction. I think Prue lives this moment for years if she doesn't have outside help. She doesn't have the powers of Phoebe to realize she's in a loop. Either she's doomed for eternity or she breaks the loop and then maybe Cole could help her, he looks humble in Season 7. Now her soul is released and ascends to heaven or the story changes completely..?
It's true that Grams seems annoyed when she tells Piper that she can't say anything when she dies. Maybe Prue can have some deja vu and she has to sort it out on her own.
