Okay so since Season 8 is really my least favorite season and since I do not like the storyline at all, this is how I would rewrite it.
1. I would have the season set in a small town/location. Salem, Massachusetts would be the perfect place for Season 8 to be set in. Salem is a witchy town and would add the Wiccan vibe from Season 1-4 to the show again. It honestly never made sense that the sisters didn't just move to another place instead of staying in San Francisco as glamoured women. And having the season set in Salem would add/create a new touch to the show, because it wouldn't be set in a large city like regularly.
2. Add a replica of the Manor in Salem. Just to keep the Manor as the main location.
3. No Billie/Christy, remove them completely. Instead have the Rowe Coven be resurrected or have three sets of sister warlocks with a bloodline similar to the Charmed Ones whose purpose is to create the Evil Power of Three. This would lead to a Ultimate Battle between the sister warlocks and the Charmed Ones.
4. No Coop, remove him completely. Instead have Cole come back as a Cupid. Him and Phoebe end up together again. His character wouldn't be ruined this time.
5. Have Henry still show up. He would just live in Salem this time instead of San Francisco.
6. No Phoebe trying to find men storyline or any of that "I don't believe in premonitions" thing. Instead, she uses her premonitions a lot in Season 8 and learns to command visions.
7. The sisters are actually willing to save innocents again.
8. Angels of Destiny still show up/Leo gets frozen storyline still happens maybe?
9. No Magical Virus?
10. I would have Salem be revealed to actually sit on top a spiritual Nexus similar to the Manor, and this causes the supernatural to be a common occurrence in Salem. Even maybe have mortals know of the strange occurrences happening in the town.
11. Maybe have the Hollow still be used?
12. The Angels of Destiny give Leo an identity and he eventually becomes a doctor/medic instead of a teacher at Magic School. Magic School seems more for Paige, but even then I feel like Paige should have stuck with being a social worker.
That's pretty much how I would rewrite Season 8 if I was the writer/creator of the show. How would you guys rewrite Season 8?

Just remember that although it's fun to re-imagine a different S8, the only reason why we got S8 is because The WB (soon to become The CW) wanted to use that last season to set up Billie with her own spin-off. So it you want yours to be anything realistic, you have to include Billie in a starring role.
Personally I prefer just skipping S8 and doing what would've happened had they not renewed Charmed (we know this because we got to read the script for what would've been the ending had it not been renewed. We're down in the basement next to Zankou and the Nexus. Paige orbs the sisters in, they cast the spell, Phoebe says, "Here we go!" KaBOOM! The Manor explodes and that's the end!

No, I don't like it - I LOVE it! When Billie first showed up, I was POSITIVE that she was Phoebe's Ladybug from the future, named after Billy Applegate from 'Chick Flick'. I was very disappointed when not only was she NOT a Halliwell, she was only named that so they could have an episode called 'Kill Billie, Vol 1' and 'Kill Billie, Vol 2'. |

I do, too. No, I don't like it - I LOVE it! When Billie first showed up, I was POSITIVE that she was Phoebe's Ladybug from the future, named after Billy Applegate from 'Chick Flick'. I was very disappointed when not only was she NOT a Halliwell, she was only named that so they could have an episode called 'Kill Billie, Vol 1' and 'Kill Billie, Vol 2'. Yes, but “Kill Bill” was popular around then, and as much as I love the show, it was never shy about latching onto whatever was big in pop culture at the time and leeching as much relevance and viewer numbers as they could - see Not!warts for another example. Although, if Billie is rewritten to be Phoebe’s future daughter (leaving the identity of her father unknown, so as to not give everything away), would Christie be written out completely? If not, who would she be? |

I know there are multiple Cupids, but I suppose it says something about how little I saw and/or remember of season 8 that I didn’t realize right away that he wasn’t the one from season 2. I mean, they already had chemistry together, so him coming back wouldn’t seem so much like a consolation prize from the Elders, or whatever Coop was supposed to be. As for Christy… Well, she could still be in it (not that I’m saying she necessarily should, mind you), as long as they weren’t sisters. She could just be someone Billie met in the past and got to know. Maybe someone she wanted to save, if the Firestarter thing is also kept. Phoebe, knowing how that sort of thing ended with Cole, would warn her to be careful… but crucially not try and talk her out of it, because she would have been paying attention to what her future daughter had been trying to tell her the whole time. |

I thought that too especially when the majority of the season was about Phoebe finding a man so she could make her family a reality. |
