Which is your favorite S1 "save the innocent" episode?
What classifies as a "save the innocent" episode? A "save the innocent" episode will contain (at least) one or more of the following:
What classifies as a "save the innocent" episode? A "save the innocent" episode will contain (at least) one or more of the following:
- The Charmed Ones are not nor the initial target of the episode.
- The "innocent" can be either magical (like a fairy tale creature and/or witch) or non-magical.
- The "innocent" does not apply to a main character like Cole, Leo, Chris, etc., nor recurring "innocent" of "magical creatures" such as Leprechauns, Nymphs, Fairies, etc.
- The "innocent" must be the primary target/focus over the Charmed Ones.

- S1E2 "I've Got You Under my Skin" - Brittany is our primary innocent. Javna did not target Phoebe until after he already targeted other victims. The Charmed Ones are not his sole motivation, therefore this episode qualifies as a "save the innocent" episode.
- S1E4 "Dead Man Dating" - Mark is our primary innocent. Tony Wong was not initially targeting the Charmed Ones, until they intervened. Yama wasn't after the Charmed Ones, either.
- S1E6 "The Wedding From Hell" - Elliot & Allison are our innocents, here. Hecate was not nor ever was interested in targeting the Charmed Ones, throughout this entire episode.
- S1E8 "The Truth is Out There...and it Hurts" - Tanya is our primary innocent. Gavin is only interested in his hit list, and the Charmed Ones weren't on it nor the primary target. Gavin only sought them out because they intervened/got his way.
- S1E14 "Secrets & Guys" - The Franklins are our innocents. Mickey and his gang weren't interested in the Charmed Ones, until they intervened.
- S1E19 "Out of Sight" - David and other kidnapped children are our innocents. The Grimlocks had no interest in targeting the Charmed Ones, until they intervened.
- S1E21 "Love Hurts" - Daisy is our innocent. The darklighter's primary target was not the Charmed Ones, not even Leo, until they intervened.
Why these episodes don't qualify:
- S1E7 "The Fourth Sister" - Aviva was a tool for Kali to be that much closer to targeting the Charmed Ones, as the Charmed Ones were primarily Kali's target and never Aviva.
- S1E11 "Feats of Clay" - The Guardian of the Urn doesn't go out seeking to kill just anyone, thus I do not qualify this episode to be a "save the innocent" episode.
- S1E18 "When Bad Warlocks Go Good" - While Brendan may be an "innocent", he took up the "innocent" slot over the likes of other innocents such as Father Austin, the girl victim, etc., that fulfill the "innocent" role more than Brendan, but they were not the main focus. Apologies if you like this episode, but I will not be listing it, in this poll.
