So I was watching Wrestling With Demons yesterday. Not sure whether it's because I'm watching 90210 simultaneously, but I think in the last scene, Shannen's hairstyle and blouse are total Brenda-style. When I'm looking at her in this scene, I see adult Brenda, not Prue. I'm curious whether I'm the only one who sees this  Attachments:

I havenāt watched all of 90210, but Iāve seen some of the first season and random episodes from Seasons 2-4 when the show was still airing on PopTV. (I do own Seasons 1-4 now, but as Iāve told you before, Iām trying to pace myself through Shannenās filmography lol ;P) I totally see it. š Hi, Brenda! Remember when Phoebe sees the past of Prue on the bridge from her early 20s in Murphyās Luck (2x16)? So, before I watched this episode fully, I saw on the Charmed Wiki this photo listed under Prueās character profile, and I was completely convinced this was not from Charmed and taken right from Beverly Hills, 90210. I was like, "Thatās Brenda! Iām sure of it!" But then when I finally watched the episode all the way through, I realized I was wrong. I donāt know if this is just me, but does it kind of look more like Brenda and less Prue? Phoebe's Sees Vision Of Prue From Past On The Bridge (2x16): |

Glad I'm not the only one  The vision from the past is also a total Brenda moment, yes. It's the bangs I guess. I'm wondering whether they specifically chose the bangs because of Brenda (because, you know, people where used to Shannen looking like that at that age so they would see a young Prue/Shannen more easily as it takes them back) or they did it just to make her look very different to be dinstiguishable from present Prue. |

I also canāt not see Brenda in Be Careful What You Wish For. Brenda with Braces ;P With my rewatch I did with Seasons 1-3, I took notes as I watched the episodes (Iām a fanfic writer and thought this might help me with writing some of the stories I have in mind). I write silly commentary, too, and for this episode, the minute we see Prue pull up to the manor after she becomes 17 again, I literally wrote: "Oh, hey, Brenda Walsh, is that you?" ;P 17 Year Old Prue In Be Careful What You Wish For (2x22): 
She kind of looks like an older version of Brenda from the beginning of Season 1 with those bangs lol. I apologize for the blurry picture below, I was trying to find one from 90210 in Season 1 that reminded me of "17 year old" Prue in 2x22, but I had a bit of a hard time finding a good picture of exactly what I remembered:
But yes, itās the bangs I feel.
I wonder that, too, if they chose it because of Brenda/how Shannen looked at the time of 90210 or if they did it to make her look different from present Prue. Maybe itās a mix of both? I find bangs do make people look younger. I see this with Piper/Holly as well. She looks like a baby to me in Season 1, but then in Season 2, sheās grown her bangs out and she looks older/more mature to me.
Now I kind of want to find more of these look-a-like Brenda moments in Charmed. Of course, Iāll need to watch 90210 more closely first before I do that ;P Youād be better at that than me.
I kind of felt this pic from 90210 looked somewhat like the look they were channeling with Past Prue in Murphyās Luck:

I feel different about Be Careful What You Witch For, because of the braces and the different hair color. Yeah I know, in WWD she has a different hair color too, but as we know from 90210 reboot adult Brenda also has that hair color. Also interesting how young Paige has the same characteristics as young Prue:  Prue and Paige are the two sisters that look most alike as teenagers . But yes, itās the bangs I feel. I really like them on Holly and I generally think she looked best in season 1 (but basically I think everyone did). As for Shannen's bangs as Brenda, I think it's the other way round: she looked gorgeous despite having bangs. However, Shannen is gorgeous with any hairstyle, from bald to bangs, I don't care. She is always beautiful. <3 Now I kind of want to find more of these look-a-like Brenda moments in Charmed. I actually really like this episode (Be Careful What You Witch For). I just donāt feel Prue was like this at 17, you know? I see Prue as being very serious about her studies with it being her senior year and this not being the time sheād have a "rebellious" stage. I donāt even imagine Prue ever being like this in high school, honestly. She seemed almost a little ditzy to me, and that feels very un-Prue like to me. How do you feel about how high school Prue was characterized in this episode? Also interesting how young Paige has the same characteristics as young Prue. Prue and Paige are the two sisters that look most alike as teenagers . (Your pictures didnāt show when I quoted you, but they do show your post. Same, it was just too over the top. But hey, I loved the skirt she picked when she went out I mean, itās fun to watch some of her scenes as "17 year old Prue". Her interacting with Piper, calling her old; When Piper asks her if she remembers anything about witches and genies and Dick and then she says, "No, but it sounds totally ā ." (Lol, I hope you remember the last word... I would include it, but I donāt think I can say it on here ;P); When sheās looking through the BOS and asks what it is and Piper says to her, "Iāll tell you when youāre older," and the two fight over the book a little. I always LOL when she sees the dragon warlock guy and sheās like, "Oh my god (she says it more like gawd lol). Whoās the hottie?" Despite some funny scenes, Iāve always been bothered by the fact that this is so not what high school Prue would be like lol. But yes, the skirt was on point! My personal favorite was the orange actually . And she looks great now too, with the short hair. Yes! I like her with her short hair, too! My guess is that you deleted the code that contained the images.
