Season six is my least favourite and that’s down to Chris quite frankly. I rewatched it this week and his mere presence alone just annoys me. I feel like he really ruined this season and the story itself for the season just doesn’t make sense and I think the writers didnt even know who he was or what he was suppose to do because I genuinely think he has an evil streak in him and I just wish the show did a better job or handling him or simply just not have him in the season. I hate future travelling and people from the future in any film and TV so maybe it’s a personal thing but season six is the worst season in my opinion and Chris is not one of my favourites.

Yeah, I don't like Chris. And I still don't buy he was always suppose to be the second son. With what they set up in S6's first few episodes, he felt like they set him up to be the big bad. He murdered a Valkyrie. It was when Holly got pregnant and told the crew during Sword and the City, that they rewrote him into the second son, I reckon. And like you, I'm over future travelling and people from the future in any film and TV. Having watched quite a number of shows and films that did it before seeing Charmed, it gets so boring. It's like a show is running out of ideas, that they need to incorporate a time travelling character from the future. Chris was too much of a Gary Stu.

Chris and other factors changed the dynamic of the show too much for me. I'd be a lot more accepting of things that happened in the second half of the show if it were put forth as a spin-off, because it felt a lot like one already.

As you know, I've counted S4-8 as the alternate-universe spin-off almost from the start. Glad that you also look at them as a spin-off, one I would've stopped watching before the first season was over. I just kept watching because it was Charmed, and I was always so happy when one of the characters acted like they did in the first three (well, especially the first two) seasons.

A lot of his actions pre-Chris Crossed like him sleeping with the Stillman sister that impersonated Phoebe and splitting up his parents, make no sense if he's supposed to be Piper's son. It was so poorly written. None of the girls even question that Chris is a Whitelighter but can't heal despite this is being a big indication that he's not trustworthy.

him sleeping with the Stillman sister that impersonated Phoebe Even, when I first watched through S6E4 "The Power of Three Blondes", I never believed Chris actually slept with Blonde Phoebe. He only said that, just to get them to fight. Here's Chris being extremely uncomfortable with Blonde Phoebe's actions and even expressed that he's not interested. I believe these feelings are genuine and valid because in this episode (S6E3, just before S6E4), his facial expression shows crystal clear indication, how interested he is in someone. I'm not seeing him interested in Blonde Phoebe, in fact, he's acting rather repulsed, by her. Completely different from how he acted in S6E3. Here, his attitude changes and is (suddenly) no longer repulsed by Blonde Phoebe and has the mental fortitude to kiss Blonde Phoebe despite the illusion that Blonde Phoebe is supposed to represent Phoebe, in his eyes. I took that as him conning the Blondes, to get them to fight. I don't believe for a moment, that he actually slept with Blonde Phoebe. Because Blonde Piper kept ensuring Chris was away from them and even sent Chris off to the astral plane about an athame and lied about "investigating the death across the street", and he orbs away. Blonde Phoebe goes on her date with Jason, comes back to tell Blonde Piper the premonition she received, next thing we know, Chris swings by because the Gremlins (that Paige sent, to find him) found him, to have him be at the manor, by midnight. I believe this is an assumption (about Chris sleeping with Blonde Phoebe) because Blonde Phoebe had the dinner with Jason, told Blonde Piper about the premonition, there's still some time between then and midnight (because midnight was the plan). But, I (also) think if they wanted to show Chris and Blonde Phoebe "getting it on", they would've shown us, exactly how they showed Blonde Piper "getting it on" with the P3 bartender. Because it wasn't shown, I'm not going to assume that Blonde Phoebe and Chris actually slept, together, judging by the events of how the episode happened/occurred.

I definitely hate the lying, whining, murdering brat who screwed up the lives of every person he met in the past for over a year! The only storyline I hate more is Cole the Source/the Insane Stalker that killed my favorite sister, Phoebs, and turned her into my least-favorite sister, PhoeME. I wish Chris had remained the Big Bad as is so obvious at the beginning of his storyline. I do not believe that Kern told Fuller that he'd be the good second son when he first got the part. If they did, he's even more of a cardboard actor than I thought he was. Whining, sighing and rolling his eyes are the only things he did well. If he was truly playing a part at first, they really needed someone who could ACT like a Halliwell and not just look like one.
It's why I haven't watched S6 in ages and much prefer Chris in most fanfics, except when he's the author's Gary Stu and acts like Sir Christopher.

I didn't entirely hate Chris but his storyline certainly could've been written a lot better as well as his personality had there been betters writers then.
I know some people would've had another actor play Chris than Drew Fuller but he's who we got at the time of course.
If season 6 was supposed to be about Chris's future and what went on there and why he came back to stop Wyatt from turning evil then more episodes should've been focused on that I think.
A great way to do that although I don't know what the budget in terms of scene shootings would've been was Phoebe getting visions of a dark future that start after Chris comes back which could be of the same scene if need be saving money there which she, Piper, and Paige investigate culminating in 'Chris Crossed' or 'Prince Charmed' where they find out the truth about Wyatt and why Chris is the way he is.
He explains to deter his family from finding out who he was Chris had to be cold and calculated at the beginning so they wouldn't suspect anything which Phoebe sees in her vision quest instead of her being pregnant that Chris is Piper and Leo's son and her nephew.
His personality loosens after 'Chris Crossed' although we still get his rejection of Leo though Piper explains he can't be angry with his past self when it's his future self who abandoned him ultimately which her son accepts and warms up to afterward.

I wouldn't necessarily say I hate him, per se, but I definitely didn't like him. I much prefer Phoebe in Seasons 1 and 2, plus Piper, Prue, and Paige.

I mean... Yes, I hate Chris. But I think this is a trick question... I like Chris as a baby. I like Chris when he comes back from the future outside of season six with Wyatt (like in Forever Charmed). I actually would have liked to see what season six would have been if he was not in it.
I liked Chris-Crossed because we actually got to see the future Chris came from. I actually liked the show bringing this sortof sci-fi with magic vibe. But it just bothered me how Chris was so obsessed with working the sisters like he was the CEO of the Charmed Ones...
