Disney Channel's (1999-2001) "So Weird" follows the story of a teenage girl named Fiona (also known as "Fi"), as her single mother Molly (portrayed by Mackenzie Phillips) travels around the world producing music. Fi (portrayed by Cara DeLizia) has a brother named Jack (portrayed by Patrick Levis) who travels along, as well, as Fi stumbles upon unusual and supernatural activity, but nobody believes her findings. Cara DeLizia only managed to star in 2 seasons before quitting and then Alexz Johnson (known as "Annie", in the show) "takes over". The series only ran for 3 seasons, as (at the time) Disney Channel only produced 3 seasons, for shows.

This was my first ever introduction into "Supernatural-esque" style of shows. S1-S2 was definitely "darker" especially for a company like Disney. S3 tends to be forgotten about because it became more "fluff", to fit the Disney model of "family-friendly". Sounds kind of familiar LOL Anyway, there's more to this show, than what I described. I just don't want to ruin it, too much LOL Just wanted to share this masterpiece, of a gem

EDIT: I do think this show (particularly S1-S2) was way ahead of its time and maybe...just a little bit too mature for something like the Disney Channel. It definitely could've gotten a lot darker, had the series continued with Cara DeLizia and not being on Disney Channel, in the first place LOL

Not many know about this show at all. The fandom is tiny. I'm a big fan of S1-S2 only. I do like S3 but not like 1 and 2. 

I won't ruin it for others. Sometimes I do wish it wasn't a Disney show and was on The WB where Buffy, Smallville and Charmed were. I think the show could've really been great. I do think if they did that they'd age up Fiona slightly to be 15. But I don't have a problem with her starting out as 13-14 in S1 if it were on the WB, with the show going darker as she ages. We'd get more high school seasons out of her that way.

Funny I just watched the first episode of So Weird a couple of days ago and it's been a long time since I've seen it.
