To be somewhat fair, to the Ellen show, they didn't specify OG nor Reboot. So, I don't think John Cho was in the Reboot but definitely was in the OG. I think it was done that way (phrased in a tricky way), on purpose, just so the show could have one wrong answer, but in an understanding way.
