I've never seen this film. The one that inspired Charmed along with the Craft. All I know is it focused on two sisters who discover they are witches. I see where Connie got her ideas from. I know she originally pitched Charmed to be about roommates not sisters.

I wonder how that would have worked out. I can see the concept working, if each coven member came from powerful witch families coming together to form the Power of Three. Would work better if they made it four members, who each channel one of the Elements of Magic. LOL, that's what the next witch series should be about, not like they did rebooting Charmed.

I think the concept of a witch series starring sisters, has kinda been done to death (as much as I loved it with Charmed). The next new witch series needs to be different. Offer something new that hasn't been done before. I think a series with the Elements (Fire/Water/Air/Earth/Spirit) is the right way to do it.
