On multiple occasions there have been discussions on the sisters and their (mostly, Piper's) drive towards a normal life or at least creating a sense of normalcy without actively working towards it, I would admit that being a Charmed One would be exhausting especially with the additional responsibilities that would be automatically added to their life.
I would like to bring forward a question, how would you have written the sisters "normal" lives without removing their responsibility has a Charmed Ones?

I would have had Piper choose someone non-magical to be with instead of Leo. It doesn't have to be Dan, but just someone who could accept magic but also not be a part of it.
And no matter who she ended up with, I would have her bind her children's powers. She doesn't have to keep them in the dark about it, though. She could tell them as much about their history as she felt like they could handle, but still keep their powers bound.

Does that mean that we would have Prue, Phoebe and Paige be the Charmed Ones with Piper being the one who is just living her life? Because I could live with that.

Does that mean that we would have Prue, Phoebe and Paige be the Charmed Ones with Piper being the one who is just living her life? Because I could live with that. I thought of a scenario once that is basically this idea. According to the rules of being a whitelighter, as far as I can tell, if a whitelighter has their wings clipped, or chooses to have them be clipped, they are mortal and just go on living. So when Leo had his wings clipped in season 2, he basically continued on with the normal aging process at that point. With that in mind, I'd have it be where Piper is the one who dies in AHBL, but then becomes a whitelighter. In the midst of everyone figuring out what this all means and how to live with it, they find Paige and she becomes a part of the Charmed Ones. Some sort of a deal is reached with the Elders where Piper can have her wings clipped and go on with a second chance at life, basically continuing on with her life from where she was so she can still age alongside her sisters, but her witch powers have transferred to Paige and her whitelighter powers are gone. This way we can still have Piper as a character, but hopefully a more humbled Piper than we got in the show. She can have her "normal" life, but magic is still in it because her sisters are still witches. She gets to be a normal person again, but there's the challenge of watching her loved ones be in dangerous situations and only being able to do so much to help. Then we could have stories about her feeling guilty for having no duties to magic while her family still does, and also feeling guilty for having more freedom than them. Prue could resent that Piper got an out while she herself will have to continue on caring for her family, with Paige now added to the mix. But Prue would also be grateful that Piper got a second chance at life. Phoebe would have the least conflicting emotions, since she loves being a witch. But perhaps the experience would humble her as well since they nearly lost Piper, and she could also be forced to become more responsible for Paige's sake. Paige would be happy to have found her family, but also resentful and overwhelmed that finding them means she now has a magical destiny she never asked for. She also knows that she's the last possible person who could ever complete the Power of Three, and could maybe resent Piper somewhat for unintentionally taking the only out any of them would ever be offered, before Paige herself even knew about magic or had any say in the matter. I prefer this scenario above a lot of others because I always thought Piper was best in a secondary role, and I think the trio of Prue, Phoebe, and Paige is the most interesting in terms of their chemistry and the roles they'd play to each other. Plus in this scenario we get all four sisters.

Doing stuff with friends: baby showers, wedding showers, that lingerie show Piper had at her house, coffee with friends the way the sisters do with each other like in Prewitched.... Ideally, they'd keep their old set of friends, but also make some new witchy ones who would understand when demon and warlock stuff crops up, or their witchy friends would help.

Piper and Leo moving to the house next door, being close but having their own house would be great for them as well. I could see Prue and Phoebe having to be the Power of Two for a while whilst they train Paige but it would be amazing to see, especially because Paige would be given Piper's powers.

I especially wish she'd have kept her love of witchcraft throughout the series.

I especially wish she'd have kept her love of witchcraft throughout the series. I could see her becoming the new Grams for the future generation. I would have loved if it was Frances Bay at the ending of the series reading the Book to the next generation of Halliwell's.
