Out of all the sisters (and actors) 3 is a very big number when it comes to Prue... - She does a power enhancement spell that causes there to be 3 of her.
- She dies 3 times with 3rd time being the "charm"
- Shannen Doherty directed 3 episodes
- We see child Prue....3 times
- Prue has 3 significant love interests in S3
- She's only in 3 seasons.

Interesting share. I never noticed how significant the number 3 is for Prue. But now that you bring this up, can we also talk about how there’s a trio of episodes, that happened to be the sixteenth episode of each season of the Prue era, that involved the possibility of Prue dying?

Phoebe has a premonition of Prue dying.
2x16 – Murphy’s Luck
Darklighter almost convinces Prue to commit suicide by jumping off the bridge.
3x16 – Death Takes A Halliwell
The Angel Of Death tells Prue that her name had been on his list (right after Davidson’s), and she would have ended up dying had she not stopped intervening with Davidson’s death; Not only that, but she is the only one out of her sisters who can see Death (in this episode).

I discovered this odd coincidence with these sixteenth episodes when creating my “perfect” season for S1-S3 in a different thread and see it involves yet another “3” for Prue.

Never noticed that. That is funny....I doubt they planned it that way but wow. I was surprised myself when I discovered this. I agree, I highly doubt it was planned that way, but it’s still so weird how it ended up being like this! Now when I watch through S1-S3 again, my mind is going to be looking for more patterns of 3s for Prue! |
