Shannen stars in movie "Hot Seat" in theaters July 1 2022

Shannen is back with her next movie in theatres July 1st. 

It's nice to see she keeps working even with cancer, must keep her distracted and busy. I'm not sure if this movie is for me, but I'm sure Shannen fans will like it or check it out.

The James Cullen Bressack-directed thriller stars Kevin Dillon, Mel Gibson, and Shannen Doherty.

The movie centers on an IT expert Friar, played by Dillon, who has been ordered “to steal digital funds online—or have his daughter abducted.” His only possible way out is with the help a bomb expert (Gibson), who arrives at the scene.

In the trailer, Sam plays Sergeant Tobias, who seems to be part of a team trying to help Friar get off the hot seat of a booby trapped building!

Sam is adding to his acting resume, he recently appeared in “Dollface” “Black Money,” and “Hacks.”

“Hot Seat” is in theaters and on demand on July 1.

Looks like a very good role for Shannen. I might check it out, if there's a movie I end up seeing with my family and friends in the next month, and they want to see it.

I'm sure someone here who sees it, can review it for us. Especially Shannen's parts mostly.

Working for some people can take their minds off things like this could be for Shannen then concerning the current state of things.

If that does then why shouldn't she continue doing it for as long as she can whilst getting a regular paycheck as well obviously?

This is a nice surprise. I'm happy to see Shannen's in another new movie.

I didn't watch the last one that she was in a few months ago. Just wasn't my kind of movie. But good for her.

Very excited to hear about this! I knew Shannen had some upcoming projects for this year, so definitely looking forward to this! Looks like it’s going to be a good one, and I have no doubts Shannen will shine in her role like she always does

Fun Fact: Shannen actually acted alongside Kevin Dillon in the movie “Gone In The Night” from 1996. (Great movie, by the way, if you’re looking to check out more of Shannen’s filmography.) I’m not exactly sure how much screen time (if at all) she’ll share with him, but it’s cool to see the two in another movie together!

Oh I'd be so mad if she had little-to-no screentime but they'd use her for the trailers!! Sometimes they do that for actors! But I have faith she'll be a leading/supporting role with a decent amount of time to shine

You're right, I hope not. I have faith she'll have more than five minutes of screentime. I still haven't seen her the other movie she did late last year yet with Bruce Wills where she played a General I believe. I'm sure she was fantastic in it.

Finished it. It was okay. Not Shannen's best role. She was fine in it.
