In the episode Titans, Paige dreams. Do you think this is her original untapped wicca power? I never understood why Phoebe didn't have those dreams in the episode. 🤔

I just watched that episode today and was wondering the same thing. Also, her "instinct" leading her so many times in season 5 and even 4 is something that would suit Phoebe's power way more. I always wondered why they gave Paige that.

It was so off. I don't understand why Phoebe wouldn't have had those dreams. It would be an advancement of her premonitions if she starting having them in her dreams.

It made zero reason why they didnt give that plot to Phoebe. It was like they just wanted to make Paige more important to the story.

That would've been a great story for Phoebe to have not just because it fitted her powers. Paige said in the episode, that she hadn't been sleeping for a while. That was what she'd been preparing for all year. I really wished Phoebe's arc on S5 shifted her back into her love of magic.
I wonder if Paige and Phoebe should've switched storylines. Paige gets the promotion and success with her work, while Phoebe quit or temporarily leaves Bay Mirror to soul search like Paige did in S5. I didn't have a problem with Phoebe working at the newspaper (even though that wasn't even what she studied in college. She didn't take journalism classes). She just got too famous too fast. She should've started out at the bottom and worked her way up. It never sits well with me how she even got the job in the first place.

I would have loved that better than what was written, especially after Prue's death, I could actually see her leaving work and taking temporary jobs as a way to contribute financially to the household.

I can see her doing that. Maybe the temp jobs Paige had in S6 should've been Phoebe's plotlines.

I always wondered why they gave Paige that. I agree that the premonition dream really should've been Phoebe's, but I disagree about her being able to sense evil. That always sounded like a whitelighter power to me, and since I think Paige is a living whitelighter, not a witch, it's one that should indeed be hers. But that's just my opinion. I can see why others might think differently.

But I don't think she's the first witch-whitelighter hybrid - I think that's Wyatt. If she WAS a witch/whitelighter her power would be the same as Chris', who, like Wyatt, is definitely a witch/whitelighter because he has both a witch power (TK, just like Prue's...) and a whitelighter (orbin). Paige only has whitelighter powers. Her so-called hybrid power is just a whitelighter version of TK. She's Charmed and can cast spells because she's a Warren. But she's not a witch.

Paiges mother is a witch. Her father is a whitelighter. She's a witch/whitelighter hybrid.
It's very clear that it was meant for her TKO to be something that only she could do and make her special. They later decided against that route of course. But not every Witchlighter is going to be manifesting powers the same. Some would have a power blended with the two, some would have one or the other.

The most annoying thing is that in her second episode. Under the Source's influence, Paige uses her telekinesis like Prue and shatters the mirror. Never after that

Never after that It (actually) looked like a replica of Piper's exploding power (IMO), but IK what you mean. My theory is, the writers probably felt they were making her too OP, so they toned her down.

I'd prefer she (and Wyatt and Chris) was just a witch with only TK exactly like Prue's. I hate S4-8 making having a whitelighter for a father be more important than having a Warren for a mother. But again, that's just me.

I can see her doing that. Maybe the temp jobs Paige had in S6 should've been Phoebe's plotlines. This. This this this this this this this.
That would've spun the ENTIRE show around and would've provided an amazing emotional shift. Phoebe leaving the Bay Mirror and focusing on her craft and the whole Goddess storyline, and Paige receiving a promotion at her social work job, which I hate that she left by the way, so her returning/being promoted would've been the cherry on top of a perfect season.
Also heavily agree to this. It's very clear that Paige is half and half, they even clarify that in the first episode of season 4. Yes, it's only "theorized" by Phoebe and Piper that the whitelighter in her makes the telekinesis work differently, but everyone should know that the dialogue was the writer's way of explaining her genetics and such. In regards to half-breeds, Paige should've been the only one. I think Wyatt should've been just a witch, because half and halves really muddied the lore of the show. If anything, I can see Wyatt just having the healing power he exhibited during the mermaid episode while Piper was still pregnant, that would've been great if it was just that; a witch who can heal. I can see where you're coming from. I think it would've been best if Paige was simply what Grams called her in the 60's episode; a witch who can orb. Wyatt should've been just a witch who can heal, at least in my opinion!

I LOVE Grams' idea that she was a witch who could orb. If orbing was her only power, that would be perfect! I'd want Chris to be a witch who could orb, too. And Wyatt, a witch who could heal but not orb? Oh, yes! Just witches who inherited one of their father's power? Oh, yes, perfect!
If only...

Like how cool would it have been if Piper, Paige and Phoebe called upon the Warren Line in the finale battle? Prue would be the one who says the spell to get rid of the Hollow from the fight, the sisters call upon their ancestors and they help fight the Triad, Ultimate Power and Dumian.
