Which sister had the strongest and good written episodes? In terms of emotional payback, better writing, better character episode.

I always thought this scene was done on purpose setting up the next season where Prue swaps bodies with Phoebe in the underworld and then becomes evil with Cole

Prue. Especially because I always felt like hers really digged into Prue's character on a deeper level with so many emotional moments with a pay-off.
I can't say Phoebe. Because hers had no pay-off. Everything she went through in S4 was just forgotten about after S4.
I did think Morality Bites was written beautifully with Phoebe. So much emotions and what a great story.
The wrong thing done for the right reasons is still wrong. What a lovely message it sends to the audience. I know I went away from this one taking that into my real life.

The lack of depth always bothered me from season 4. For example Phoebe could have cried when her baby died or had a little depression. She accepts all of this and all is well. We see that the show was written by macho men.

Prue > Phoebe > Piper > Paige. I agree with greta, with Phoebe, there's no pay-off. All Phoebe episodes post season 4 revolve around her love life/future family. And I think it's sad they didn't have many Paige-centric episodes and story arcs. I understand not wanting to put the spotlight on her in season 4 right after Prue left, but there's so much they could've done with her. And even in later seasons.

So much they could've done. I wasn't impressed that they made Phoebe want to have children because she saw it in her future. I would've liked her to have at least come to the realization all on her own. I still feel she should've had some working and healing on herself after the experiences she had in S4.

The two who I think made the worst mothers and would've made the best aunts both saw themselves with children in the future - Piper in 'Morality Bites' and Phoebe during S6 (don't remember which episode, just the one when she saw herself pregnant) - forcing them to want children when I wish neither had ever had any, especially when both had been injured and like Patty, might not have been able to have children.

Yeah, Paige felt like she took a backseat in the later seasons. S6 and S7 at times felt so VERY Piper/Leo centric. Sometimes I can't separate the two. I don't particularly enjoy them together. The show at times really felt like they overdid time travel and the future. Too much! I really think Piper would've made a fantastic aunt. I spoke about it in another thread chatting to Elle Em. And I just can just picture her being that aunt who spoils her nieces and nephews. Also teaching them to cook because their moms are hopeless in the kitchen.
