Recently I ended my annual xena marthon and my first reaction was ''Why charmed has fine plots wrapping up in only one episode innsead of two epidoe arc?''
So i reevaluate many of the great filler episode and i would like to read your thoughts and opinions about exploring some of the episoes in more that one (and maybe why not two) episodes mostly after season 3. I think i added too much but episodes like charmed and dangerous and engaged and confused in which there were huge events going on cant imagine how the writers deside to abbreviate such strong and inderesting plots especially during the early seasons
-Apocalypse Not
-All Halliwell's Eve
-Death Takes a Halliwell
-Exit Strategy
-All Hell Breaks Loose
-Charmed and Dangerous
-A Witch in Time
-Centennial Charmed
-The Day The Magic Died
-Chris-Crossed
-Crimes and Witch-Demeanors
-Vaya Con Leos
-Engaged and Confused

That could have been a storyline that crept into Season 2. Also the Gypsies in Season 5's , The Eyes That Have It. It would have been great having Ava in Season 5 as another version of a witch. |

Such a great show. 
I agree with you. Charmed had so many good ideas that should've been more than one episode. In fact most of the two-parters the show did had, were not very good and didn't even need two parts.

Season 6 - Chris Crossed (Show us this dark future with how the Charmed Ones died)

I was just talking about that this is why I like Charmed is due to wrapping up each story, in one episode. I can't stand new shows of today like PLL, Stranger Things, Once Upon a Time, etc., just stretching out an entire storyline across a whole season. To where you need to watch prior episodes, in order to understand what's going on.
Granted, Charmed did have some background storylines that were ongoing via S1's Rex & Hannah's plot, S2's Love Triangle, S3-S4's Phoebe & Cole story arc, S5 Piper is gonna be a mom arc, S6's Mysterious Chris, S7 the Avatars & S8's Billie's arc but like...I call them "background storylines" for a reason 'cause they don't really take up too much time away from the episodes' main storylines, that's going on.
I like things wrapped up, in an episode. Close down the case and move onto the next one. Don't string along the same, boring, tired out storyline for the whole show/season, that nothing is really happening :/

I would have LOOVED to see more of Ava/other gypsies. There was that one gypsy we had not saw before in a following episode who was helping Piper with the birthing ball - that was short lived though. |

Chris-Crossed should have easily been a two-parter, at minimum. There was so much there but they condensed it into 42 minutes.

I will always wonder what S6 would've been like had Holly not gotten pregnant during S6 Now that Drew Fuller has verified what I've always believed - That Chris didn't become Wyatt's younger brother until she announced that she was (rather than the spin he always gave that Kern whispered that he was during his first episode, which I never believed since there's such a difference in Chris before and after, and reading that originally he was only supposed to be part of 8 episodes), I will always wonder if 'ChrisCrossed' (when they find out that he's betraying them - with him perhaps Cole and Phoebe's son...) would've been a full arc using up most of the episode. It could've been SOOO good and maybe the rest of the series wouldn't have been all about Piper and her family with Phoebe and Paige as much costars as Darryl.

It could've been SOOO good. Then how could he use whitelighter abilities? Orbing, tk orbing, maybe that would explain the healing and he did it someway similar to the titans? Idk |

Again, I'd prefer him as the Big Bad and only around for 8 episodes rather than the hero for the full season. This could keep the emphasis on the charmed Ones as I think it should've been, rather than their sons. |
