I saw over social media that Holly, Drew and Brian did an AMA over at the Charmed Reddit community. I'm not a member but was curious about it, and decide to check it out.

I decided to post all the Q&A's here for those not a member to be able read it here. I left out many more Q&A's, most of the pretty uninteresting questions, but you can check out the rest in the link below.

Will there be (or are there already) plans to include Alyssa and/or Shannen and/or Rose in the podcast?

Holly Marie Combs: Rose will be coming on for multiple eps.

Would you be able to lobby someone to publish/sell the deleted scenes from the first seasons?

Drew Fuller: probably not gonna happen

Is Jennifer Rhodes coming on? She played the most iconic character after Prue xx

Holly Marie Combs: She has said she is planning to yes.
Brian Krause: she will be on in the New Year (Witch Trial).

If you could change one aspect about your character, what would it be?

For Drew - When did you know the character was going to be Wyatt’s brother?

Drew Fuller: Not till midway through the season 6

Drew How similar or different in personality would you say you are with Chris?

Drew Fuller: I am Chris (jk but maybe…)
Holly Marie Combs: They’re the same.

I have a question: how were Piper’s freezing scenes filmed? Did you use a green screen or were objects / people digitally frozen in post production?

Official Holly Marie Combs: We did both.

What were the first reactions of the other girls (Shannen, Alyssa and Rose) when you told them about the podcast and who was the most keen to start appearing?

Drew Fuller: All said congrats and good luck!! Very supportive and loving

Also are there any plans to have Julian McMahon on the podcast once season 3 rolls around?
 
Holly Marie Combs: Yes we will wrangle Julian in one day.

How do you feel Connie leaving the show impacted it?
Holly Marie Combs: I did not want to see her leave.

Official House of Halliwell: This is the podcast producer answering for Holly: She had very specific asks because the character is based on her sister - all of them were actually based on her sisters.

How did you feel about not being able to use Shannen’s likeness on the show after she departed? Did it make things difficult or feel inauthentic (no photos of her in the house, at her funeral, etc) obviously nothing you can do about it but just curious.

Holly Marie Combs: I was bummed about it.

Brian Krause: Ummmmmm.. lol

My question is for Holly, throughout the filming of Charmed did you ever wish Piper had developed a third power? If so, which one?

Holly Marie Combs: Oh gosh… wow. No I never thought of that. I had my hands full with the two I had. Pun intended.

For HMC, Was it always planned to include getting pregnant with Chris or did they include it, as you were pregnant IRL with one of your boys?

Holly Marie Combs: Cuz I was pregnant IRL. Yep.|

Did all the actors know at the beginning of filming season 6 that Chris was going to be revealed as Piper and Leo’s son?
Holly Marie Combs: Nope.

Was the role of Chris really changed because of Holly's pregnancy?

Brian Krause: yes

If you could have changed Prue’s final fate or brought her back in any way throughout the later seasons of the show, what plot points or other things would you have wanted to happen (besides good writing, etc.)?
Holly Marie Combs: I would have liked her to meet Paige.

At what point did the budget of the show reach its peak, and did that improve your perspective on how the show was presented in terms of performance values?
Drew Fuller: Probably season 3. Most went into fx

Drew Fuller: No but i think BK watches the fan fiction…

Where is the original book of shadows prop now?
Holly Marie Combs: Brad for reasons unknown. Still. But there are many versions of the actual book. 4 in fact.
Brian Krause: Brad Kern has the main pretty book and I have the "stunt book".

Any chance of having more production people who worked behind the scenes on the podcast in the future like writers, set designers, make-up artists, those who created the book of shadows etc?

HollyMarieCombs: Yes we want allll the peoples.

Was there ever storyline you wish you’d could have revisited?
Holly Marie Combs:Neighbor Dan

Drew Fuller: Dead man dating has moved into my top 2

Why didn’t Prue appear in later seasons? Grams and Patty were both in several episodes. And why were there no pictures of Prue in the house at all?
 Drew Fuller: Lots of red tape around this question so unfortunately we can’t answer it

Was Holly approached to appear in the tv show riverdale as jughead’s mother?
Holly Marie Combs: I was. Super bummed I didn’t get it. Wasn’t meant to be.

Which character (not including yours) was your favorite and why? Any favorite scenes with said character?
Drew Fuller: SHANNEN. She is so awesome as prue. #crushforreal

Do you feel Cole’s character was ‘done dirty’ in terms of his character growth, projection and ultimate decline? This has been a source of much debate amongst fans and wondering what your personal thoughts are.
Holly Marie Combs: Well partly it was the exit strategy for him. He left before his time.

Thank you for starting a podcast about Charmed when you don't have to. It really excited me as a fan, but would you be able to have a bit of more structure and focus more on the episode itself and the behind the scenes and deleted scenes? I hope you don't take this as a negative critic, but as a constructive one. I find it hard to continue listening with so many inside jokes and topics unrelated to the episode. Again, thank you for starting the podcast. The episodes with the guests were the best ones!
Drew Fuller: We are sorry you that way. Holly BK and I try to find a balance between talking about the show and broader themes that anyone/everyone can relate to (not just charmed fans). It’s very difficult to appease everyone. Some people would prefer a strict recap while others would prefer a behind the scenes look and others are just listening/watching for the banter… But make no mistake - they all love and cherish the show and are so grateful for the love and support. Thanks for sharing the feedback and know we strive to deliver something everyone can love and respond to

If you did read the Zenescope comics what did you think of how they handled it? Not the art but the storylines and how they connected to your time on the show? Did you think they handled it well and or was there something you would have liked to see your characters do in the comics that you may not have been able to do in real life?

Holly Marie Combs: I love that it lived on but I did notice I was carrying a lot of laundry baskets. Often. Ha.

Thanks for posting this, Julian. It's obvious that Holly hasn't been here - if she did, she'd know that that S1 is the favorite season here. I wonder why she doesn't like S1.

I LOVE Drew admitting that no one knew that Chris was going to be Wyatt's little brother until Holly announced she was pregnant. While the show was airing, he always said Kern whispered to him that he was Wyatt's little brother, but his acting told me otherwise. I'm glad to know that he wasn't THAT bad of an actor! I was so happy to hear that he had a crush on Shannen!

I also love Drew now saying that he loves 'Dead Man Dating', one of a lot of Café members' favorites.

I was also happy to hear that Brian likes to read fanfiction. Of course, I can't help wondering if he's read any of mine and what he'd think of them, especially how I wrote Leo...and Piper.

Thanks Julian for sharing this. I'm not part of Reddit, so this helped.

I really do like lots of Drew's takes on Charmed. I get a kick out of Drew having a crush on Shannen. I do recall the two met a number of times at Charmed cons many years ago. He really wants Shannen on the podcast, and I hope he gets that wish. The fact Shannen is attending a con with Holly and Rose next year, I'm sure Holly will keep pushing Shannen to come on. Same with Rose.

So Holly wishes they revisited the Dan story I see. They could've brought him back instead of Greg in S8 if they wanted to. But, I don't think half the writers would've remembered him by that point apart from Kern.

No hiding anymore that Chris wasn't planned as Piper's son / Wyatt's brother. We been knew. But they tried to keep acting like Kern knew what he was doing. (God, the comments about who has the book....ugh.)

Seeing Drew fanboying over Shannen is just so adorable. It got me to look for past cons they did together around 2013-2015. I just caught a particular video where Drew was so admiring Shannen and moving closer to her on the chair. I love their chemistry. Makes me imagine how it could've gone if Shannen was part of S6 where they interacted as Prue and Chris. I do think they'd play well off each other as aunt and newphew.

*nods* yeah it'll be nice to have a POV fromone of the leads than just Holly. Just seeing them both sharing stories will make the podcast a bit more fun than hearing it all from Holly's POV.
