I'd love to see a 25 Year Anniversary companion book made like Buffy did a few years back. Filled with tributes from cast and crew.

Maybe even a new novel and or comic to go along celebrating Charmed.

A special retrospective look at Charmed with the cast reunited to discuss 25 years of the legacy of the show. I doubt all four can be together. But maybe we can get a combination or just have Shannen/Rose and Holly/Alyssa interviewed in duos.

Rewatching SWTWC on Saturday October 7th, 2023. Maybe this board can schduele that on that day in tributes to Charmed turning 25.

I think the only realistic thing is if Holly Marie is hosting an event with Brian, Wes, and Drew, then have appearances from Shannen, Alyssa, and Rose.

Should we asked to guest star on a rewatch. Maybe Morality Bites because its in the future?

Plus there would be Melinda and no Wes or Drew which would be funny since Drew, Holly and Brian host the House of Halliwell Podcast!

I'd want summerreading to check her spreadsheet where she's kept track of everyone's ratings of the episodes we've actually re-watched and choose the Top Ten and either the Saturday or Sunday that's closest to the anniversary, do a Charmed Cafe Super-Marathon re-watch with members joining in when they can and when they want. If necessary, we could do two or three Super-Marathons so everyone would get a chance.

Granted, it won't include S6-8 since we probably won't start re-watching S6 until next October, but that's okay with me...anyone want to choose their favorites from those seasons and do their own marathon, that would be fine with me. I just wouldn't be part of it.

If any of the stars wanted to join in, I guess that would be okay, but I'd really prefer if it was just us so it wouldn't be all about the actors and not the characters. The podcast and the feuds have made me not care about the actors at all.

If others wanted to do something else that would include the stars, that's fine with me. I just wouldn't be part of it.

ADDED LATER: Hmmm... thinking about it...even if no one else wants to, I might do my own Super-Mega-Marathon that weekend - 5 on Friday, 10 on Saturday and 10 on Sunday to make 25 favorite episodes for the 25th anniversary!

I know we tend to start the next seasons re-watch the second week of October. So we can leave the 25th anniversary re-watch Super-Marathon for the weekend of October 7th and 8th.

The 25th anniversary will be on Saturday October 7th this year. So we HAVE to re-watch Something Wicca This Way Comes on that day too. Maybe we can do it across a couple of weekends.

Weekend September 30th and October 1st (3 episodes)

Weekend of October 7th and October 8th (3 episodes including Something Wicca This Way Comes on October 7th)

Ideally I think we could do it as a month-long Super-Mega Marathon and spend a whole month doing it. Starting it the Weekend of September 9th and 10th and ending it on the weekend of the 25th anniversary on October 7th and 8th.

I think sticking to 2 or 3 episodes might work better for everyone so others can join in when they can.

That could be lots of fun. Yes I can definitely check my spreadsheet for the top 10. Or I could select the top 2 or 3 from each season. And anybody who wishes to not ignore S6-S7 since we won't rewatch S6 until after the anniversary weekend can decide what ones to include. We could rewatch them backwards so SWTWC is the one we end up rewatching on Saturday October 7th. Exactly 25 years since it first aired.

We have months to brainstorm any other ideas others here suggest and what works best for everyone.

hmmm the anniversary of the premier is at 7pm ET Sat 7 Oct.

That is 12pm Sat 8 Oct, 12noon Melbourne and 2pm Auckland. I was thinking of putting out a watch party on Reddit to see if we could play it at the same time.

I know it’s been some time since anything was posted in this thread, but we’ve talked a little bit about rewatching “Something Wicca This Way Comes” for the 25th Anniversary Of Charmed during the rewatch of S2 some of us did over the spring/summer. I know there seemed to be a lot of interest in this thread and in our S2 rewatch group to still do this. I just wanted to post it here and maybe we could bring that conversation for doing this 25th Anniversary rewatch special under the “Something Wicca This Way Comes” thread?

Wouldn't it have been nice if all 4 leads could have Zoomed into a call for a spell recital and keep it professional and all?

So sad how the actresses don't get on with each other after all these years!

While I understand what you're saying, I respectfully disagree to force people/guilt trip them into doing something for us fans with people they don't get along with/see as "the enemy".

Especially from Rose's perspective. She's not gonna compromise her values for money. She wants to display herself better than that.

She doesn't like Alyssa and feels Alyssa is dishonest. If Rose cowers to us and works with Alyssa, in Rose's mind (and maybe others), would go against everything she stands for. In order for Rose to prove her word is to put it into action.

Even if Holly has "unfollowed" Alyssa on Socials, I don't think she's anything like Rose and will still work with Alyssa. Holly "unfollowing" people means nothing.

Rose is the main orchestrater in really meaning what she says and follows it up with her actions.

I don't blame Rose for sticking with her guns. Though, Holly ALMOST convinced Rose to do a reunion, as long as Rose was able to DIRECT it.

It'd be the only way for Rose to even "work with" (more like boss around, but I digress) Alyssa. According to Rose.

Except maybe Shannen, though her projects haven't been as successful as the more minor characters of the show, but I digress.

They HAVE to cling onto that Charmed money, since that's really what they're mostly known for.

Holly may have been in PLL, but her role in that was very minor (which is what she wanted, but I digress).

Same with Rose and her two minor appearances in Once Upon a Time. Maybe the Conan remake has her in a much more primary role, but I've yet to see it.

Yeah that's the thing sadly, all four of them, they already peaked with Charmed and none of them have ever gotten big success since. So It's why they'll cling onto Charmed for years to come. But it's the sad truth with so many actors in the 90s, very few are able to find big success after a major role which got them so much attention and success. I think David Boreanaz might be one of the few actors from the WB era of television or actors from that period, to find real success beyond Buffy and Angel, and consistency working in major lead roles since with Bones and Seal Team. I'm sure I'm forgetting somebody. But its hard to ever get out from being on a successful show. So many actors get one big hit and never seem to find anything else after, so they're attached to this one hit show forever. 

Julian and Kaley are the most successful actors post Charmed from the main actors I feel. Although the latter was only in one season of Charmed, so it was more of a stepping stone for her. Julian has had some luck being on two shows post-Charmed.

Yeah ain't that the truth. Honestly Piper is basically Holly's peak point as an actress. Although she was on Picket Fences and PLL. I hate to say it, but she'll forever be attached to Piper for the rest of her life. Though, she's semi-retired from acting to help her husband run a restaurant. So I think she's fine just cashing in on that Charmed money and traveling all over the world doing cons. But I get it, getting paid to travel is fun.

Yeah it did for me. But been so busy past few months with real-life.

But HAPPY-BELATED ANNIVERSARY CHARMED! I still love you despite my real life getting in the way of celebrating on the day.
