camera work in Wicca Envy? (spoilers)

Is it just me or is the camera work in Wicca Envy unique? There's a lot of facial closeups and it seems they use lighting to cast shadows above/below the eyes so that the eyes themselves are slightly illuminated.

I can take screenshots if nobody knows what I'm talking about. It's most obvious in the close-ups of Prue when she's talking to Rex after finding out the tiara got stolen. It shows up again on Piper right after she freezes Andy when he opens the drawer to reveal the tiara for the first time.

Anyone else notice this?

I remember int he House of Halliwell podcast - that HMC says that they all started to look tired at this point so the lightening on the face went up a lot to reduce dark circles. maybe that was part of it?
