Even if it was just for clout, it's their lives. If they're doing what they want to do, then let them go for it. It's not like the convention circuit in the early 2000s was anything like what it is today. Going to conventions was looked down on so much in the past. I remember getting laughed at for going to a convention back in 2008 by friends. Now all my friends go to conventions for various fandoms. This is the stars' chance to meet the fans that made their show big. While we always say Charmed wouldn't be what it was without the actors, it also wouldn't be what it was without the fans. I don't understand why I'm being lectured to respect their lives, when I'm not the one accusing them of seeking attention but whatever. |

Oh, cons are definitely a ridiculous price now. Especially with all the add-ons. Some of them are worth that price though. It is all about budgeting and saving money. I know someone who will spend $3k on one con per year. She saves up for that one con every single year and makes it into a bit of a vacation for herself. She doesn't have any young children or a partner to worry about, though. She gets to spend her money however she wants, and I love that for her.

Hey so in the latest podcast episode 2x02 with Jennifer Rhodes/Grams, Holly says that at the end of the year, the travelling convention is coming to my home country New Zealand!
I was so surprised and overjoyed that they would be coming to New Zealand - all the way down under and to the side!
I'm so excited - I take back my previous comments on the conventions because I can actually get to meet them now - HAHAHA
I am guessing they will be coming to Australia - Maybe Sydney and Melbourne too?
Does anyone have the timeline of the conventions so I can rally my troops on either side of the ditch? (That's what we call the space between AU and NZ!

I take back my previous comments on the conventions because I can actually get to meet them now - HAHAHA Thank you for retracting your statement. I have yet to meet them, in person but would like to, someday. I hope they continue doing these conventions and whatnot and perhaps I can get my chance, too. |

Me, my daughter and granddaughter might have a chance to meet them. I know I missed out on meeting them when Shannen and Holly came to Sydney back in 2015 or 2016.
