I was thinking about this during a rewatch with my daughter, we watched the episode with the Vampires, and it got me thinking I would have loved a more deep dive into their lore, I feel like we get a look into something and then it gets immediately dropped, just like certain storylines that I would have loved explored like the following: The Source's Heir, Phoebe ruling the Underworld on her own, Cole being a reformed Demon, Piper having her daughter etc.
It also got me thinking about which creature would other people wanted more exploration on?

I may come back to this and expand on it more, but off the top of my head: Wizards. In lore, they're very similar to Witches, and so it always made me wonder what the difference was in the Charmed-Universe. Especially since they like to copy Harry Potter at times, and HP has Witches being the female equivalent to Wizards in the HP Universe.
And then we hear that his family was slaughtered and such, and I wonder why we hadn't heard of that before. Leo also makes Wizards to look like they can't be trusted, which, in this case he was right, but I don't think all Wizards are bad. Hell, I don't even think this one was too bad, he really just wanted to resurrect his family at first.. Or maybe he was just bad, but still, I'd like to have the lore on Wizards expanded on.

Ooh I love this question!
I agree with Vampires, there is definitely a lot to work with there and would have been so interesting to delve into deeper.
Also agree with Wizards. It's interesting that in Charmed Witches and Wizards are different species, but in other fandoms (sorry HP is also the main one that comes to mind rn) they're the same species but different genders. I think I prefer Charmed's take on it, witch/wizard as different genders does not allow for diversity.
They were minor characters, but I would have really loved The Four Horseman to have been expanded on more. They sound like a pretty big deal to me, but it was only one episode. What about other potential apocalypses?! Was there only that one?!
Also Fairies and the in-between, I loved that concept and feel like a whole lot could be done with fairies. Evil fairies??
It did have two episodes, but The Titans and general mythology could have also been expanded upon. There was an episode with Pandora's box later on, there's a whole branch of mythology that could have been explored.
Ludlow - I could do with more info on this school for those who serve The Source tbh.
I might come back as I think of more...

I'm gonna shock everyone and say... I wish we knew more about the Phoenix clan of witches.

If vampires had been portrayed differently I.e. not the stereotypical way you know them to be it would have been interesting seeing different types of their species for eg if one didn't drink human blood or turned people in an separate way like Suoernatural infecting people. Some could not be killed by stakes or others that we're immune to fire or holy water and some day walkers like Blade perhaps who could go out into the sunlight for short periods maybe.
That would make it interesting for the sisters in terms of them having to think on their feet every time they faced any of them trying to figure out how to defeat those obviously.

Not really a creature but Warlocks are being explored more in S5-S8. But for one-time species. Like Assassin Witch, I agree with the Phoenix clan of witches. I'll also give a shoutbox to ones that we didn't even see or were barely shown in an episode like Demons with 4 Eyes, Mariners via Sea Fairies, Bunyip and Demon of Cruelty. Ones vanquished in the opening like Harpy and 'Creeper' Demon.

YES to the Gypsies. Would've been interesting to see it expand even if Ava didn't return.

YES to the Gypsies. Would've been interesting to see it expand even if Ava didn't return. I also could have seen phoebe with a gypsie and then being quite spiritual with each other. Plus he’d know about the family secret and be able to protect himself from attacks. And as gypsies move around a lot, he would be off doing what he does and coming back to San Francisco. Maybe if phoebe bumped into him at the funeral. What a way to tell someone how you met!

Witch Hunters

I would've liked that as well.
Nathaniel Pratt and Agent Jackman, we're good villains so it would've been interesting seeing Witch Hunters pop up a couple of times or once more throughout the show after season 4.
Imagine if one or a small group of them worked for Homeland Security and was there around the time Zankou tried to intake the Shadow giving another reason for the sisters to fake their deaths after destroying that of course.

Darklighters.
Why? Because as the series went on, we learned more (and more, and more) about whitelighters, what they can do, where they come from, how they’re chosen, etc, while darklighters are just… kinda there. Were they originally regular humans who died and were brought back like whitelighters, or were they born the way they are? Do they have their own version of the Elders handing out assignments, or do they have to find targets themselves? Do any of them help out warlocks like whitelighters do with witches, or would that defeat the “survival of the fittest” mentality that the forces of evil (not reporting directly to the Source) seem to have?
How many subtypes are there? We saw Trackers, Spirit Killers… though only once or twice ever. And as for the Alec-type ones trying to spread evil via procreation, does that mean that there are a lot of darklighter hybrids out there? As was so often the case, after the episode was over, the show completely forgot they existed.

This thread reminds me of lunchking 's thread Vanquished demon in opening that deserved its own episode? thread. My response there is the same for this thread: OFC, I chose "other" 'cause I can't simply just pick two. From the Poll: S2E21 "Apocalypse, Not" - Demon of Annarchy, Demon of Cruelty S4E8 "Black as Cole" - Scavenger Demon S4E18 "Bite Me" - Harpy S5E1 "A Witch's Tail, Pt 1" - Borneo Demon S5E21 "Necromancing the Stone" - Creeper Demon S6E1 "Valhalley of the Dolls, Pt 1" - Trok Demon S7E16 "The Seven Year Witch" - Thorn Demons From my List: S1E19 "Out of Sight" - Demons with Eyes That Grow Legs S2E15 "Give Me a Sign" - Mariners via Sea Fairies S2E18 "Chiick Flick" & S5E19 "Nymphs Just Wanna Have Fun" - Bunyip S5E17 "Lucky Charmed" - Phoebe's date who "devours" his victims. (Made-Up) S6E4 "The Power of Three Blondes" - Demon with flying razor sharp teeth All these demons/creatures look/sound way more interesting than all these human looking ones that throw fireballs.

Quite a few of them would've made interesting episodes than a wash and repeat of the same generic demons in leather throwing fireballs and energy balls.

Still, would've been nice to see some creative thinking. I do like Zankou, because he had a personality and stood out from everybody in S5-S8.

How was this not an episode. It sounds interesting and yet we got stuck with Lucky Charmed. LOL Such good ideas. I think all of them are such interesting choices for episodes. Somebody needs to write a fanfiction with all these demons and creatures. There is so much potential here.
