Everything from 1x01 to Witch Way Now 4x22. I see what you did there Though personally I could rewatch everything from Something Wicca this Way Comes all the way to Sense and Sense Ability Genuinely even the fillers are great fun ! And I know season 5 gets knocked for bringing in superhero , leprechaun, nymphs, fairytale aspects but I liked that they tried something different to expand that side of things teased already with Cupid in season 2 and fairies and trolls in season 3 anyway For me just after sense and sense ability that grams episode and as a lover of greek mythology the titans two partner were three shoddy ways to finish off a run if genuinely brilliant episodes Season 6 going for Amazonian Valkyries also didn't do any favours either. Despite great concepts it stopped a run of greatness imo I can pin point it there I know lots of fans stop at Witch way now as a final of sorts but for me season 5 still has so many classics within it Season 6 sadly goes absolutely wild and not all of it sticks the landing due to choices made at the end of season 5 and after the Crone no threat against Piper Leo and the babies made any real sense either ... And the show became about that couples domestics and boyfriends of the week and all that as opposed to anything else and the sisterhood stuff took a blow which is a shame as season 6,7 and 8 do STILL have moments that shine Like genuinely I feel some classics in season 6 stand out beautifully I dream of Phoebe I think is comedy gold and griping too! I love the seance episode, power of three blondes too is class, and the running of the last 5 episodes are so gripping that it's a shame all the other stuff feels meh ...love the one where piper is taken hostage too by that demon that was a great twist Season 7 was also brilliant on concepts but execution iffy sadly which meant what could've been an epic a bit wobbly ....and at the time it was the only supernatural fantasy series on air in a msjor way...Buffy finished two years ago, xens three years ago, angel the year before abd Supernatural and doctor who didnt start until the following year so its an anomaly to me in many ways Like season 7 tonally looked darker but the first four episodes besides the avatar teases were so empty and fluffy ...Styx Feet under kicked it into higher gear imo and it was non stop until utopia Chsrmageddon which I wish had a bigger battle and pay off than just a discussion as such Then after the weird trilogy of Billy Zane we get into it again with a great run of Zankou episodes and little box of horrors and freaky Phoebe that felt like season 2 left over scripts too Season 8 I genuinely think may be the most cohesive of the final seasons I did enjoy it more than the previous two seasons overall ...Kaley Cuoco I always loved and the three leads felt all delivered some of their best performances since season 5 too really like they nearly didn't have this extra season and they all knew they had to go all out performance wise ...and to be honest bar battle if the hexes and repeat plots of them shrinking and things like that overall it was a great run of episodes I liked the added stakes again and call backs too were good fun Paige and Billie were a fan dynamic and Phoebe felt like she was healed through the trauma and reminded me of how accepting she was to others in the early sessions ... Made me glad charmed could finish on a high note with most of its living cast members present for a great final two hours or so |
