I really was upset with how it ended in Used Karma. It really made me feel so sad for Phoebe. Out of her new love interests, this ending hurt me more. I know she went through so much with Cole, but where they left it in S5, it was a relief Cole was written out. I really want to know the BTS reason. I feel like Eric might've been unavailable. The show did such a big thing with moving Phoebe and Paige out of the manor with their guys, only for both to break up with Jason and Richard not long after. It makes zero sense. This was a huge waste of a story.
I checked Eric's IMDB, and he had no major acting jobs after he wrapped up Charmed's Used Karma other than guest roles here and there. Nothing major until Grey's Anatomy in 2006. So I guess I gotta put the blame on the writers for this one.
Jason was the longest serving love interest for Phoebe after Cole. I'd have preferred them sticking with him more than throwing stupid Leslie on Phoebe in S7.

I think I hate Leslie more because the actor can't act for sh*t. He's so bad in his scenes. Dex would be second. Yeah it does make sense from a story point of view of why she would be famous. I don't like it in S5. It made no sense she got fame after working there for a few months. As you pointed out it did once she dated Jason. My favorite episodes of Phoebe & Jason: S5E17 "Lucky Charmed" S6E4 "The Power of Three Blondes" S6E6 "My Three Witches" S6E9 "Little Monsters" I can't argue with these.
Beautiful moments! I really enjoyed these.
Another one I love is the ending of Lucky Charmed. Phoebe: "Martini, dirty." Then he hands her a rose and they smile. It reminds me of Andy with the rose in "Dream Sorcerer"

I agree with this about Phoebe becoming famous through her dating Jason and not earlier on as that made no sense to me unless magic had been involved which it hadn't of course.
I've never heard of anyone getting a promotion after starting a job and becoming famous until a year or 2 at least overall.

I've never heard of anyone getting a promotion after starting a job and becoming famous until a year or 2 at least overall. I haven't either. This was Phoebe's first full-time job. Unless Phoebe had previous work experience in a newspaper prior to the gaining employment at the Bay Mirror, possibly...but it doesn't quite feel realistic she did after starting her working career. But I do agree dating Jason having perks would help.

I didn't know Alyssa and Eric dated.  I knew she dated Brian. Damn these Charmed ladies can't help dating their co-stars or people from set (I know Holly married the key grip on Charmed. Alyssa dated Brian and Shannen and Julian dated.). I'm glad Alyssa and Brian's break-up didn't affect the show and characters, though their characters we not romantically involved so that helped. Rose might be the only one of the four leads to not mix business with pleasure.
This upsets me more that this might be the reason for the split.  |

How do we all feel their relationship could've evolved if Jason stuck around? Let's say that Jason learns Phoebe's secret under different circumstances. Used Karma isn't his final episode. How do we see the rest of S6 progressing for them? I think he would be similar Andy but still loves Phoebe, and we'll have a S6E16 "The Courtship of Wyatt's Father" moment, where they were like separated, like Piper & Leo were but just had the good 'ol "Make-Up" scene, if you know what I mean. It'd be rocky, but I think he'll end up trying to help, on some level. Like watching the kids or something LOL |

If Phoebe hadn't lied to him, for so long and actually listened to Paige's advice, sooner, I think the relationship would've survived. And, other fans would see the chemistry that they have <3 |

Honesty I don't know if he could've handled it if she told him sooner about who she was. I think he would have. The way he was still forgiving towards her, in the end is proof enough. Do you think it would've been stable enough in the long term? |
