I sadly think the behind the scenes drama will be what it becomes remembered for than the content of the show and storyline 50 and 100 years from now. Just look how Shannen's podcast talking about Alyssa just now has blown the spotlight back on the show into the media again. It sucks how little attention I see for the show storyline and writing. It had so much potential this show. Which is the sadder part, this show had so much potential, imagine a #MeToo storyline that features one of the sisters being prayed upon by a human man showing that the demons aren't the only forms of evil out there, that there are multiple sources of evil. Yeah it had so much potential to be more recognized critically. But it never will be I'm afraid in years to come critically I'm saying not cult followers. The media never respected the show apart the click baits for the behind the scenes drama. They did tap into it with Abbey as the human stalker but they could've expanded it more.

They definitely could have, imagined if she got the job at P3 just so she can know the inner most secrets of the sisters, I mean if there was a whole season worth of Abbey acting weird, then us as the audience suspecting that she's a demon just for the twist to be that she was human, sometimes there doesn't need to be a supernatural factor, just a human is weird enough.

Yeah they could've done a bit more with it. It could've been fun for the audience to suspect she's a demon with the twist that she's not. That could've been fun.
If they didn't reveal Cole as a demon to the audience right away, then they could've found a way to have both storylines playing side by side for a few episodes.

It actually feels like it was headed in that direction as well. Esp in Season 1 there were a lot of predator like demons/warlocks. Jeremey, Javna with the aging, dream sorcerer etc. I could have seen a me too storyline later.

I would hope that in 10-20 years, a true reboot of Charmed would come out with more modern grey morality that most fans would like more than the Charmed ones that I love, but that's because I'm 70 and grew up believing in black-and-white morality. It would be nice to show a Phoebe character and a Kyra character as a couple after the Phoebe character mourns the loss of Cole and their child. I'd love to see the Charmed Ones exorcise the Source out of Cole and vanquish him so the Phoebe and Cole characters can have a happy ending. It would also be nice to see a Mark-character be matched with the Piper-character so you have a non-white character as one of the stars. I'd like to see all three Charmed Ones survive but still find a way to include a Paige-character, even if I'd prefer if like the ripoff, she was half-demon and the oldest, not half-angel and the youngest. But as I said before, if years from now, someone read our "Elemental Charmed" and based a reboot on *that*, I'll bet the next generation's kids might love it and let Charmed live again.
