All this conversation about Prue's gift in being knowledgeable about Historical Artifacts, that I figured I'd make a thread about it.
Disclaimer: Only episodes where Prue is talking about the objects and actually giving some context to it. Simply a nod that she's "catalogging" something isn't enough (like her busy day at Buckland's in S1E5 "Dream Sorcerer" will not count). The value of the item isn't necessary, though it does boost the moment to get it listed (like in S1E10 "Wicca Envy"). Nor is just talking about how the AH works (like in S2E1 "Witch Trial"). We MUST have SOME historical context about an item or items (or value), from Prue's mouth.
S1E2 "I've Got You Under My Skin"
Prue's second interview had her look over a painting and a statue before paint got spilled over her, but she managed to TK it away from her.
S1E3 "Thank You for Not Morphing"
Victor makes a surprise visit to Prue and has her examine his ring.
S1E6 "The Wedding from Hell"
Prue is explaining to Hannah about a Lassa warrior fertility goddess. Along with Andy coming to Prue for information on the Priest's knife/dagger/athame for the Spencer Wedding case.
S1E10 "Wicca Envy"
Prue guesses the Romanov Tiara is worth (at least) well over a million dollars, to Piper, at Quake.
S1E11 "Feats of Clay"
Prue examines the urn that Clay brings to the AH with Phoebe.
S1E12 "The Wendigo"
As Phoebe & Prue are going over a bunch of items in a warehouse/storehouse of sorts, and Prue tells Phoebe a brief comment about a lamp being an original. Sorry, she didn't give any historical context to the Terry Lane bracelet. Simply saying it's initialed with "T.L." doesn't count. But a random lamp being classified as an original does.
S1E16 "Which Prue is it, Anyway?"
Prue gives historical context to the Statler's Warehouse items such as a Roman Vessel and the Castilian Pillory.
S2E3 "The Painted World"
Prue examines the painting that Jane brings her, in the beginning of the episode. She estimates a year of the 1920s. Later on, she translates the Latin text encrypted in the X-Ray.
S2E6 "That Old Black Magic"
Prue examines Tuatha's wand and estimates a $5,000 value.
S2E8 "P3 H20"
Over the phone, that Jack forced Prue into (while Prue is at the camp), talks to Mr. Fugimotto about his Carousel Horse. She knows some minor information about it, just from memory, when she looked at it, briefly, from earlier to do this.
S2E9 "Ms. Hellfire"
Prue values Ms. Hellfire's things for $275,000, at the end of the episode but tells Jack that it's an "anonymous estate donation".
S2E12 "Awakened"
Prue examines a painting with Jack, at the beginning of the episode. Later on in the episode, she finalizes it as not by Monet but one of his students.
S3E4 "All Halliwell's Eve"
Prue makes an estimated guess about what year her and sisters have been yanked into based off of the attire people were wearing. Not necessarily an "artifact" but still a historical knowledge surprisingly that exists in S3.
EDIT: Adding the video I made, as well, plus the Time-Stamps.
