Has the recent actress feud tainted your view of the show?
As per more recent commentary.

My thoughts exactly. I don't let it affect my love of the show.

Nope because I keep what's happening currently separate from the show and just enjoy that for what It is still the same about Smallville concerning Allyson Mack or JK Rowling with Harry Potter also which I think is the best mentality any fan can have for any genre of course.

To be honest. I haven't rewatched episodes since sometime around the HoH podcast.
Don't know if thats just me off Charmed or me thinking, meh, I don't think I wanna watch this anymore, esp because of HMC.
I think I think about it with the lens of... hmmm, I wonder what happened after this scene now. And is this the moment x did this or that.

I've been noticing how hard it is for you with the show and actors and separating it with some of your replies lately. Maybe you need a break from the show in general just to not let it affect you too much. I don't personally think or feel that way and when I rewatch, I only think of the characters and not the actors and drama behind the scenes. But I'm sure your not the only one who feels this way with it being hard to re-watch.

I really wish you would stop ruining the show, for yourself, by continuing to indulge in the BTS drama that's really irrelevant to the stories told in the show and/or episodes.

I think the off-screen drama is now more interesting than the series lol. HMC and BK were coming to NZ and me and my sister were so excited to see them but when all this drama came out and the HoH podcast was a constant "I am so thankful for Charmed, but I hated this, and that and this person and this special effect". Its hard to get out of your head. I hope Shannen is more professional in her re watch

I like Phoebe but not Alyssa.

I think a lot of the people who are hyping this up now, making mountains out of molehills decades later are new(er) fans of the show and many of whom weren't actually even alive during Charmed's original run.
It's all old news to me. I've been with Charmed since its first episode back in '98. I got involved with the fandom at eight-years-old in '01, initially through reading fan fiction over on FFN (and I can narrow it down almost to the day because I still remember the first story I read), and shortly after I graduated to casually browsing the various fan sites and message boards, all of which are long gone now. I will be 31 this year. In the period of time from when I was a young child to now, a fully grown adult who isn't far off of middle age and with children of my own, very little new information has been added to the conversation and the various fan POV's aren't anything I haven't seen before dozens of times over, it's all just louder now because social media amplifies chaos.

Every time I watch again I'm so excited. Then after season 3 I no longer wanted to watch 4, Prue's death was too grotesque. I feel this every time. So now maybe it can play a little bit by telling me "ok her death is grotesque and besides it's your fault and I can't stand you this season (Phoebe and Milano)"

Def louder because of Social Media. I've been a fan since 99. Although I was still so young when it aired so I wasn't so into the online community side yet as in to talk online even if I browsed sites. I do miss the old school fansites to get news. It's one thing I do miss about the old early 00s, all the cool fansites which are basically dead since social media has replaced it to get news and or places like Wikipedia. Yeah it's so big on socials. Like it's so debated and toxic over there. But you are right the social media era has made it a bigger deal than it should be. I do feel it's taking so much attention off the love fans have for the show because it's way more the narrative in the shows legacy at this point than the on-screen writing and character love. The media is eating it up so much. It's sad how little attention the show gets for its anniversaries apart from some conventions highlighting it. The media only seems to cater to the drama than promoting the legacy it made for pop culture. I don't think we'll get the same reunion press and magazine covers that most 90 shows got turning 20, 25 or 30. But I understand why that will never happen due to the issues the cast have even if they can do their press separately. But I digress. I just hope this will blow over and be old news now that everyone has said their peace and shared their truths.

It hasn't tainted the show for me. As I get older it's become more apparent to me that people have faults and I probably wouldn't get along with a lot of people if I met them, or at the very least we just wouldn't mesh very well. So if I started thinking about TV shows and movies based on actors and actresses who seem perfect and very likeable to me in all ways, I'd have nearly nothing to watch.
I've also felt "off" about Holly for quite a long time now. Like, back when the show was still airing. Recent things I've heard about her personality don't surprise me. But I have no problem going back and rewatching my favorite seasons of Charmed because I see Piper there, not Holly.

I started watching when it first aired and I'm bored with the whole "feud" thing and long ago no longer cared who was to blame and who wasn't. I really don't care what Shannen, Holly, Alyssa and Rose think about what happened more than 25 years ago - I'm a lot more interested in Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige. So, no, all this talk about it hasn't affected my reaction towards the show at all.

Whilst I think it's alarming a show about sisterhood starred actresses that can't stand each otherbisbironic
And I also found the fact they must be huge talents to be able to cover it all up too

The only reason Shannen spoke about it on her podcast was because it was constantly brought up for years on why she left at cons. So she wanted to share her truth once and for all. But to be honest for some fans it's never enough proof and they'll never being satisfied with the answers they get from all four.

Nothing changed that love. I just roll my eyes whenever it's brought up all the time. Since it's so ancient news. I think some fans (not all of them) get too caught up in the personal lives of the actors, and act like they know better.
