Why did the Source send his personal assassin for Dr. Griffiths?
Prue suggests - "Now either you have saved too many lives or you're about to save a life that they don't want you to save."
Did the Oracle see him save Piper from Alice (The Shooter), or what??
What was Phoebes premonition she claims to have seen, was it either
- Prue and Piper outside
- Prue and Piper at the hospital
- Piper, Phoebe, and Paige in the Attic (Doubtful because "we kicked butt" impelling Prue was alive/there)

AHBL feels like such a bubble episode like it feels disconnected from anything else in a respect and in another is one of the most important hours of television too
It's hard to put a finger on it really but it really hit hard and didn't stop it was brutal and fascinating too ...like for an episode so tragic ...it's alarming how many times I laugh at the lines in it too!
It's a paradox

Why did he send Shax? He likely was going to save someone very important in the future. Maybe one TCO in the future?
The attack probably took place somewhere else and they got to Griffiths before the original attack happened.

Why did the Source send his personal assassin for Dr. Griffiths? Prue suggests - "Now either you have saved too many lives or you're about to save a life that they don't want you to save." Did the Oracle see him save Piper from Alice (The Shooter), or what?? What was Phoebes premonition she claims to have seen, was it either - Prue and Piper outside - Prue and Piper at the hospital - Piper, Phoebe, and Paige in the Attic (Doubtful because "we kicked butt" impelling Prue was alive/there) Not the best episode, but still decently written and directed in a sense. So these are really intriguing and compelling questions!
I don't have the answers, but I'll say that maybe it's not as deep as we think it is. He may be an innocent, but probably nothing episodic-focused; we've seen demonic leaders assign targets to their minions-- most targets being good people (Take S3's Wrestling With Demons, or The Demon Who Came in From the Cold, or S4's Long Live the Queen -- and countless other episodes where demons are given targets), so it wouldn't be much of a reach to speculate that Dr. Griffiths is no more special than a councilman or a AA sponsor.
Aside from that, it's possible that The Source -- being strategic -- wanted to distract the sisters by giving them an innocent to protect and catching them off guard with Shax at the manor? If the source had popped in, he wouldn't be no more of a threat than he was in S4's Charmed Again pt. 2 (It seems like the ONLY way he would be able to actually face them directly would be when he followed his plan of obtaining their powers with the Hollow).
With Phoebe's premonition, it's pretty interesting because USUALLY her visions are pretty accurate, maybe a little misinterpreted at times, but nonetheless, they usually always happen. So her vision is/was something we should've seen, and because of such, I'm willing to believe that MAYBE the vision took place at the manor, and that's why they were so adamant on going home in the beginning of the episode? OR the vision she saw was in-fact the one in-which she soloed Shax, but it was just misinterpreted that "we kicked butt"? (I'd also speculate that maybe she saw them vanquishing Shax in the attic and misinterpreted the 3 of them (Piper, Phoebe, Paige) for Prue, Piper and Phoebe).
