So with the rise in AI lately and I was wondering if anybody on here ever used an AI thing to help you craft a Charmed script cause I have if you give it enough detail on what you had in mine for a script

That's wild! Was it a good script? Did you have to give it a lot of details? I might give it a go, although I have zero ideas at all I'm just intrigued with what it would come up with aha

I've played around with it. Sometimes it hasn't been the best. It's a fun sounding board for ideas.

Not Charmed, but another fandom. With all the hype I totally expected it can help me complete all my unfinished fics. I was legitimately ready with over 20 tabs open to copy paste everything into Chatgpt. Was I thoroughly disappointed It's good with brainstorming or when you need something other than the word he said or she said, but for me, it just couldn't complete next chapter of a story. I also asked for new 500 word story from the beginning. It was better but something just felt off. I guess asking AI to write a story about one character grieving for another was too much for the soulless machine, lol. Keep in mind it was months ago and hopefully new version might be better. Here's a website which went into detail into giving instructions to Chatgpt to write a story from start: How to Write a Story in ChatGPT

I have a sour taste in my mouth with AI writing. IDK if it was for this show or another show, on Reddit, and the members endlessly spamming "What If AI Wrote" threads.
That being said, my original instinct about AI writing has not changed. I find it weird and scary. I've watched plenty of Sci-Fi to be skeptical about AI usage particularly in the realms of AI behaving like humans.
It's odd and weird, and I don't understand the push for "humanlike" AI. Well, I do, but it's terrifying, to me.

I feel having Ai write stories is a bit of a cheat to be honest. It feels lazy. It will be sad to see Ai find its way u into writers rooms with writers being downsized in favor of Ai.

Well, I do, but it's terrifying, to me. AI tech is already being used for war and genocide(not shocking), but the human-like AI are increasingly being used by fraudsters to mimick your loved ones voices, saying they are in trouble or been kidnapped and need money transfered ASAP or ransome dropped at a particular location. Heard a father who already knew the physical location of all his teenaged children since he dropped them off relatives house, received this kind of call, and he's like: "Yeah...yeah keep my no good son. Save a lot of headaches and expenses." 😄
