A clarification

Does anybody know or heard (or even your personal spectaculations) about how things would've work out after 3x22 but with prue? I mean instead of spending two episodes trying to make paige the new   charmed one what would have happened or what was the writwers' original plan if prue was still on for season4? Something like phoeb and leo coming back but prue  had passed away and then piper and phoeb were forced to make a dark deal with the source to bring prue back? Or like xena style (season5 premiere?) like prue crossing over to the evil side and they spedn the other tree episodes trying to get her back? What are your thoughts? Or what was the original plan for prue after 3x22

I always imagined Leo leaves Phoebe and Cole in the Underworld and heals both Prue and Piper. Then they try to save and rescue Phoebe.

I always thought Phoebe's turn to the dark side would've played out at the start of S4 but obviously that story got pushed back because they had to spend half a season introducing Paige.

I wonder if The Source influencing Paige by possessing Shane would've been taking over Cole to temp Phoebe had Prue not died at the start of S4.

Was there any official plot-story for the premiere of season4 with prue or just those three horrific months of hiatus with no internet and just everybody wondering what ifs? Its just that everybody even at comic cons asks so boring and irrelevant things and not one ever asked or wondered what was planned for prue at least for the first half of season4? Or the most plain question: how the cliffhanger would've play out
That would've gave the sense of closure

The body switching episode would definitely exist. With Phoebe and Prue switching bodies. And Cole sharing a kiss with Prue(well Phoebe).

If the real-life feud was this bad, then it makes sense to keep Phoebe and Cole running around in the Underworld, while Prue and Piper try to figure out a way to save them after Leo escapes and heal them. We also perhaps learn more about Dr. Griffiths family and reason why he was targeted by the Source. Seeing Shax was back, maybe he goes after remaining family members and Prue and Piper needs to juggle saving Phoebe and protecting Griffiths family.

And just to make it more dramatic, Prue starts remembering the alternate timeline(call it a power progression of astral projection which ultimatelty allows her to astral project into the Underworld and find Phoebe) and starts suffering from PTSD, especially when she encounters Alice and various people who crowded the Manor on the street. This makes it hard to vanquish Shax without the Power of Three.

This sounds so interesting. I personally wanted to know more about shax but obviously they didnt have enough time for this and i've always imagined the first episodes with prue instead of paige (no offence to paige) 4x08 4x12 4x13 and the underworld arc 4x18-4x21 and 4x22 would be a good continuation of their deilimma from 2x17 (to be or not o be a witch). About shax maybe perhaps knowing even more about shax and how he came out of nowhere why was the source's right hand why he was after the doctor. My headcannon was always something like shax being a human being at first but his lover died because of grifiths and then (banshee style) he turned mad and the source found him (window of opportunity and stuff) and he promised him vengence so thats why he was after the doctor. Ths would make a good BoS entry

Shax actually being human turned demon and being in the window of opportunity like Banshee Phoebe solves so many problems of All Hell Breaks Loose:

1) "I saw the attack, we kicked butt, what more do you want?" Since when does Phoebe see the Charmed Ones winning at the end of her premonitions? Something felt very off about it.

2) Doctor's U-turn once the Charmed Ones are exposed. The fake wig didn't help hide anything. Who knows what kind of lying he did to cover his medical mistakes which could've cost him his career if he let them become exposed.

3) Shax making sloppy mistakes like attacking Prue and Piper in the open and getting caught on live camera. Evil is supposed to be more insidious than that, right? Later on he again attacks Doctor Griffiths infront of a whole crowd when...what was the point? Whole demonic and magical world was exposed. All demons(especially Source's personal assassin) should've been called back to the Underworld by the Source awaiting further instructions.

However if Shax was operating on vengence, then he would ignore orders and go after the doctor. Also appearing two times on live television camera? What if he was trying to actually expose Dr. Griffiths?

Unfortunatelty the reporter instead of digging up dirt on Griffirhs was now focused on the magical Halliwell sisters.

4) Alice shooting Piper. How did she get on top of the van without anyone noticing? Was Shax actually not vanquished but in spirit form and convinced Alice to shoot Piper? Even though the 'witch' who kicked her out was Prue.

And later on Prue losing Piper in the hospital, Dr. Griffiths unable to save her. Perhaps that was Shax's revenge on Prue and another stepping stone to expose Dr. Griffiths for being unable to save his loved one.

5) Prue's chill. Is it death? Or is it some sixth sense telling her that Shax is in the window of opportunity zone and instead of using her powers against him, Prue pushes the doctor and takes the hit meant for the him.

6) The Power of Prue and Piper vanquishes Shax. Not three when he is supposed to be this extremely powerful demon. Would explain if he wasn't. Not yet.

Maybe the window of opportunity was meant for Shax instead of Paige. But then plans changed with Shannen's firing.
