We just started S3, too. Well, we're halfway through it. That last episode is gonna be tough.
I remember some speculated her podcast being "now" was 'cause this was coming soon, so.
Though, the new and improved HoH podcast is gonna be on hold again (sigh).
Now, we'll never have a Charmed Reunion. The best we got was with Shannen, Rose, Holly.

Only yesterday I stuck posters that used to be on my bedroom wall in my journal! The charmed ones gave me positive energies and I'm devastated we've lost Shannen Rest In Power Prue 💙  |

RIP Shannen. I just found out this news like 20 minutes ago. That hurt to hear.
I've made peace with the fact a reunion is never happening now. It is what it is. All it's taught me is like Shannen has lived her life as best she could, despite cancer, she worked on some projects with stage 4 a couple of years ago. She never just sat down and let her cancer ruin her life. She was so strong to fight it for as long as she could.

RIP Shannen.
Heartbreaking because she was just about to start the podcast for Charmed. But I had this horrible feeling when she had zero social posts about its return. She seemed to be doing well. But its a life lesson, that life is too short. Things always happen unexpectedly. Shannen lived her life with more than just crying about her cancer 24/7, she kept living her life until the end as best she could.

I can't begin to express my shock by this news. Like it came out of nowhere. I thought it was another fake, because I've run into these so often over the years for stars. But it just goes to show you that people can be so good one day and gone the next. I knew she had started a new cancer treatment, so something wasn't working.
The best thing in Shannen's final year we got was her and Rose getting super close. It warms my heart to say the least that we got them together even if we never got to see Prue and Paige.
And now I've officially mourned and accepted Charmed ended in Forever Charmed. A reunion is history. It's never happening. I'm at peace with it.
My heart goes out to her family, friends and those who loved her.
RIP Shannen. You were loved by many.

RIP Yeah, I kind of assumed that her podcast being now was because she knew this was coming soon. Yeah, I think it was her way of saying her peace and goodbye. I knew she didn't have long, but I didn't think it would be this sudden. But that's just how it goes, cancer can take you at any moment. Some live for years, some die weeks or days after being diagnosed.
And the last podcast she ever did was with Holly.  |

RIP Shannen. Now I might be a newer fan who hasn't seen S2 or S3 fully yet (only 1, 4, and 5), but Shannen was made for the role of Prue with what I saw so far.
Love to her the ones that loved her. I hope she's at peace and no longer suffering.

Heard the news this morning and was so saddened and I'm probably feeling even sadder this afternoon.
First saw Shannen on Little House on the Prairie watching that with my mother then snipits of 90210 being too little to watch that but just old enough to watch Charmed with my siblings and friends and fall in love with the character of Prue.
I loved the way Shannen played Prue. Just real authentic and true to her character always.
I wish I would have told her earlier,
Thank you so much for bringing my family so much closer together.
We will share the bread and wine again with our sister.

It was too fresh and why I bailed on the re-watch today the board was doing. The more I thought about it, I think what is sadder is how BOTH actor and character has passed, and in some way it makes S4-S8 real, because she's literally not in it at all. On the bright side, It might get me to check Shannen's other work. Same here. I didn't see 90210, I was too young, but old enough to watch Charmed with my sibling and parents. I thank Shannen for bringing Prue to life, and am SO GLAD they never re-cast Prue, even if it meant Prue could to live. The last thing Shannen and Holly ever did together that was on television was that travel show and the last guest who was ever on Shannen's podcast was Holly. It was almost like it was coming full-circle in some way. She did come back to Charmed in the end. |
