So cool! Prue can live on in this game.  I understand how you feel. I literally woke up this morning to the news at 5 AM. It was too fresh and why I bailed on the re-watch today the board was doing. The more I thought about it, I think what is sadder is how BOTH actor and character has passed, and in some way it makes S4-S8 real, because she's literally not in it at all. On the bright side, It might get me to check Shannen's other work. Same here. I didn't see 90210, I was too young, but old enough to watch Charmed with my sibling and parents. I thank Shannen for bringing Prue to life, and am SO GLAD they never re-cast Prue, even if it meant Prue could to live. The last thing Shannen and Holly ever did together that was on television was that travel show and the last guest who was ever on Shannen's podcast was Holly. It was almost like it was coming full-circle in some way. She did come back to Charmed in the end. She totally did come back to Charmed at the very end, even with the re-launch of the HoH podcast. Wouldn't it great if Alyssa Rose and Holly paid tribute to her character somehow, even in a segment. Far out I still don't believe she's gone! Naw, today I have absolute gratitude for a person of strength, courage, commitment to her convictions. I haven't seen anything from HMC yet? I feel like Piper, she would be devastated and so would her family. I feel so connected to the Charmed community today. Blessed Be It would be lovely if they could. But I respect if they don't or are not ready or choose not too. Same here. I admire that with stage 4 cancer she still made the effort to go to Charmed cons. i am worried and feel for HMC and SMG (only two close famous friends let to speak out yet.), having not seen anything from them yet. Losing someone so close to you is always hard, whether it was a long time coming or unexpected. I feel their pain. Everyone grieves differently. HMC will post when shes ready. I love Rose's messages. She's said such nice and beautiful messages online in most social posts and been such a positive light in the community. |

I haven’t been around for a while but I just saw the news a few hours ago and I’m absolutely devastated at the loss of Shannen. I didn’t think it would impact me as much as it did as I didn’t know her personally but I cried a little bit when I first heard the news. I know she wanted to live her best life and speak her truth until the end and she did that. I’ve always admired Shannen as an actress and for being true to herself, no matter the cost. I know she is no longer suffering or in pain. I hope she rests in peace.

worse in the past few days and week. It's quite common for many to hide their illnesses and put on a brave face. They don't want to have their loved ones worrying about them and wanting to make the most of their final days. She knew it was coming judging by her podcast she did sharing stories.
I hope she didn't suffer in the end.
Glad to hear Shannen was with those closest to her including her beloved dog Bowie before she passed. Sounds like she passed away at home but this is just my guess. Don't quote me.
My first thoughts are with her mother. So heartbreaking burying a child after losing a husband, I can't imagine what she's going through. Then her brother and his kids. Then to Holly. Her best friend whom she has had a friendship since she was 19.
RIP Shannen. You will be missed. Thanks for everything you did for Charmed and all the other projects you were in.

RIP Shannen. I just found out this news like 20 minutes ago. That hurt to hear. I've made peace with the fact a reunion is never happening now. It is what it is. All it's taught me is like Shannen has lived her life as best she could, despite cancer, she worked on some projects with stage 4 a couple of years ago. She never just sat down and let her cancer ruin her life. She was so strong to fight it for as long as she could. Yeah, it did hurt to hear. |

Crazy to think how differently the show would have been if Lori stayed and Shannen remained the lead. You can tell Season 1 is her story and she owns it. Charmed reminds me that life can go many different ways and that you never know when your loved ones times will eventually come. |

We just started S3, too. Well, we're halfway through it. That last episode is gonna be tough. I remember some speculated her podcast being "now" was 'cause this was coming soon, so. Though, the new and improved HoH podcast is gonna be on hold again (sigh). Now, we'll never have a Charmed Reunion. The best we got was with Shannen, Rose, Holly. RIP Yeah, I kind of assumed that her podcast being now was because she knew this was coming soon. That's what I was thinking. They said she was helping them stay on track. Who will do that now? |

She was as strong as Prue was ....a fighter in every way I agree it hurt me today to read it Couldn't agree more. I'm taking her inspiration in my own life now. I was thinking the same thing. That's the best way to honor both Shannen and Prue. |

I can't begin to express my shock by this news. Like it came out of nowhere. I thought it was another fake, because I've run into these so often over the years for stars. But it just goes to show you that people can be so good one day and gone the next. I knew she had started a new cancer treatment, so something wasn't working. The best thing in Shannen's final year we got was her and Rose getting super close. It warms my heart to say the least that we got them together even if we never got to see Prue and Paige. And now I've officially mourned and accepted Charmed ended in Forever Charmed. A reunion is history. It's never happening. I'm at peace with it. My heart goes out to her family, friends and those who loved her. RIP Shannen. You were loved by many. For me, I've accepted that it officially ended after S9 of the comics (NOT S10!) and Paul Ruditis' two ebooks. That's how I'll think of Prue...and Shannen. I love the idea of her reunited with her father and her 90210 costar who died. That helps my heart heal, the way thinking of my parents reunited with *their* parents helps my heart heal from their losses. |

There's a chance Charmed could've just become a passed pilot by the WB in 1998 and never heard from again with different actresses or no well known actress to promote it. I do think attaching a well known name helped get it off the ground. Spelling knew what he was doing. |

They're glad tributes. There's way more than those. She was very loved by many. Sad that Shannen didn't truly know how much she was loved and respected. The podcast tribute was sad cause that's what Holly said. She never really knew how much.

Its been a month since Shanen died and Its transitioned from Deep Winter to Pre-Spring on my wider of the world in that time.
I can see the trees and leaves starting to change and can hear new baby birds and ducklings in the morning waking me up.
She truly deserved the legacy she has created for herself.
2024 proves to be a turbulent year just as the previous 4 have been.
I'm so incredibly grateful of the memories of the 90's/early 2000s of which Shannen played such an iconic part.
I'm so grateful to have the memories to have the nostalgia of such an amazing time in history to be a kid growing up in that Post-Cold War era.
