She did a couple other songs in the movie as well. I really enjoyed the movie, and I absolutely recommend checking it out, if someone is able to find it out there to stream. I was lucky enough to get a copy of the movie myself, and I swear, if I could share it with all of you somehow, especially if we get to watching some of Shannen’s movies on here, I would love to!
I really love her singing voice. When I hear her sing “does anybody hear me?”, I get Alanis Morissette vibes. I think she had been interested in doing more with music after this movie. I would have absolutely had her album playing on repeat if she’d released one.
I’d been hoping to see her at a con near me next month. This was something I would have loved to talk about with her, her experience with this movie and singing and possibly pursing music, along with being able to tell her what a beautiful singing voice she has. zachary , I am so glad to hear the OP’s story of having met her and being able to tell her this. I was very touched by this moment and reading Shannen’s reaction to what this person had told her.
I’d attended a con last year that Rose and Holly had been at, and in their panel, Rose had mentioned doing more music herself. I’d kind of had wishful thinking that maybe, with her and Shannen having grown close over the last couple of years, they’d do a song together.
It would have truly been lovely to hear Shannen sing on Charmed. Whether it would have been a musical episode (as silly as it might have been), or her doing something at P3 (kind of like Paige had done at Nate’s club), or even just a little scene of her singing... Maybe even something along the lines of her sitting at the piano, playing a little tune, and her singing a bit (as we know Prue did play some piano as kid from “Thank You For Not Morphing”)... It would have been a special moment to see <3
