The Seer must have come across Cole right?
And was Zankou banished by The Source during Belthazors 100-year-odd lifetime?
Would Zankou have been the leader of the Brotherhood perhaps?

I tend to feel that Zankou was banished way longer than 100 years during Cole's lifetime. Again its never clear. All my speculation.
The Half Faced Source was apparently only in power for 500 years. I'd like to think Cole ran into the Seer during his 100 years as a demon at some point. He seemed to know her when she summoned him, and it didn't feel like it was their first meeting. |

I'd like to think Zankou and The Half Faced Source were in a big battle for power for a long time before the Source imprisoned him. He seemed to know about the Charmed Ones, but then he said he could sense all from his prison. So that doesn't still answer if he was put away during the last 100 years. Like you, I tend to think it was a bit further back.
The Source incarcerated Zankou for a reason, because he was too powerful and dangerous. A threat to take him out and his throne. That does imply he might've rebelled during the Source's reign as the Source. But as for if it was during Cole 100 years as Belthazor, not sure. It could be.
I feel like The Seer came across Cole during his Belthazor years. Especially if the Seer worked closer with the Half Faced Source and Cole had met The Source directly at some point in time when he made a name for himself.
I'd wish we got some more backstory on Cole. I'm shocked they didn't do any flashbacks to his 100 years as a demon through the years the way Angel had his run as Angelus on Buffy and Angel. It would be fun to have seen him meeting other demons, making a name for himself and slipping in times some Warrens encountered him briefly or in passing.
