Where would you go ?
What do you think would have been your 'replacement' show.
Do you think there would have been a development of another witch like show / movie to fill void?

Honestly probably nothing. Charmed isn't the only show I'm passionate about. I guess I'd just watch those still.
But it's hard to say what other witch show I'd have watched. I did watch Sabrina. If it wasn't Charmed I'm sure they'd have made a witch show on the popularity of the Craft and Practical Magic. I'm sure we'd get something eventually. Maybe those movies get made into a TV show.
I'd miss all the friendships I made because of Charmed online. That actually would really make me more sad with the show never existing.

I didn't watch Charmed, when it aired. The shows I were watching, at the time, were catered towards children/kids. So, I guess maybe "So Weird", since I still watch that one, as an adult...and still sticking with the supernatural theme.
But, in terms, of just in general, I watch "Gotham" WAY more than I do "So Weird", since "Gotham" is NOT a children/kids show xD

Having watched Charmed when it aired, I'd just have one less show at the time to enjoy.
I don't know if they'd develop another Witch show. Probably considering that since Charmed they did so anyway. But it may have been inspired by Practical Magic, Witches of Eastwick and The Craft than Charmed.

I think because "The Craft" was rated "R" and the other ones were not. I watched "The Craft", when I wasn't supposed to xD I did catch glimpses of "Charmed". I DEFINITELY remember seeing the S5E12 "Centennial Charmed" ending & Olivia possessing Paige in S6E5 "Love's a Witch". That's the extent of my Charmed knowledge "back then" xD

Like others Charmed would've just been one less show I watched.
I also wouldn't have joined this forum and then another forum some years later through people who used to be online here and get to know folks from these or had a Charmed fanfiction series which I'm involved with and created an original character out of that either.
Smallville aired around the same time Charmed did so I would've still had that plus the fact I used to watch a lot of British soap operas back in the day plus Home and Away and Neighbours as well whilst watching films so it's not like there wouldn't have been things I didn't view on TV then.

I'm actually surprised we haven't gotten a Craft or Practical Magic TV show reboot. I think they attempted it before for both, but they never made it passed the Pilot stage. Very random ways to get glimpses of "Charmed". I got some glimpses of Charmed in S1 while It was airing, before I became a regular viewer. I do think the bits and pieces I caught were from "Feats of Clay" or "From Fear to Eternity". But I can't remember, It might've also been the TV ads I saw much more of.

You must be thinking of this unmade CBS pilot based on Practical Magic:
I still think a cool witch show that isn't just based on a set of sisters would be watchable by me. So long as it has interesting mythology, and the core characters are great, I'm in. Sisterhood isn't just have to be a set of sisters related by blood. LOL I'd have still watched Charmed if they went with the alleged theme of three roommates.
They would probably go with a theme of people finding their "found family" and those who feel like they don't fit in and building a community and sisterhood within a coven.

That's probably the one I was thinking of. I might watch that unmade pilot out of interest one time. Cool its on YouTube. Maybe they should attempt that for their next "witch show" and not go trying to make another Charmed based around three sisters. It might have more of a chance and not be compared to Charmed and fail.

I see why the show didn't work based off the pilot. It was pretty bad. You'd think but Hollywood has run out of ideas, they'll likely reboot something else, than come up with something new that was inspired by Charmed or other witch movies or shows.

I caught Charmed when it first aired the latter half of season 1 in the UK i.e. the last two episodes and then started watching regularly and became a fan of the show from season 2 of course.
Other than Witches Of East End there hasn't been any other witchy type shows I've viewed other than Sabrina The Teenage Witches a few times as a teen.
I have seen the first Craft film but not the second plus Practical Magic also.
Even caught snippets of the original Suspiria but not all as I'm not really into horror movies myself.

I'd love then to bring out a new witch show with something new to the table. For it be different and not compared to Charmed they'd need to ditch the theme of siblings who happen to be witches. Been There, Done that. Not that I hated the show being about sisters. Just to be a fresh change and do something different.
