ok i dont know about you guys but i sometimes wonder what charmed would be like if i could have made my own cast...i personally would have only switched phoebe into charisma carpenter or amy acker or even jennifer love hewitt but tell me what you would do and how you think it would have changed the show ;D

Jennifer Love Hewitt as Paige. That is the only change I think I would make, the orginal cast was well chosen. Even Dan's actor Greg Vaughn was a good choice.
And plus I think there is actually already a thread for this, I'm not sure.

He he he, Jennifer Love Hewitt was actually in consideration as Phoebe back when they first desided on Lori Rom and then Alyssa Milano.
I wonder though how it would have looked like if Jeniffer Aniston, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow had turned down Friends and later said yes to Charmed.
Cox as Prue, Aniston as Piper and Kudrow as..well Phoebe.
It even matches how it was on Friends for them ;D

I would actually of had Holly as Monica, Alyssa as Rachel and Rose as Phoebe. With Julian as Joey, Brian as Chandler and TW as Ross.
Other way around. As you said Cox as Prue but I would have Aiston as Phoebe and well Kudrow as no one! Holly will always be Piper. Matt Le Blanc as Cole, Matthew Perry as Andy and David S as Leo.

Heh, then just imagine Elliott Gould (Jack Geller, Ross & Monica's dad) playing Prue, Piper and Phoebe's dad exactly in the style as Jack Geller was in Friends.
Im guessing then that Ron Liebman (Leonard Green, Rachel's dad) could play The Source, he was afterall playing almost as evil in Friends.
Now here is a challenge for you, in which part would you put Maggie Wheeler (Janice) ?

okay i love the cast how it is.. but if i could change it, i would make angelina joile piper, jen aniston pheobe, and .. nah holy alyssa and rose were perfect!

Looks like you need a doze of Ghost Whisperer.
Jen is great in that TV serie that leans a little up against Charmed, because it also deals with the supernatural.
Jen actually would be able to pull it of if she had to star as one of the charmed sisters because she is a multi talented actress that also has a great sence of humor.

I think this is a very interesting topic. Not that this would ever happen (at least not within the next decade), if the origin of Charmed were to be reinterpreted and told with younger actresses in a TV Movie or film format sometime soon there are three young and talented actresses that are on the top of my list. Rachel McAdams (center) as Prue Halliwell This young woman is a true chameleon and knows how to meld into the character(s) she is playing. I believe that her acting range ("Mean Girls," "The Notebook," "Red Eye," "The Family Stone") is so large that she has exactly what it takes to portray the conflicting character that is Prue Halliwell. Shiri Appleby (left) as Piper Halliwell Anyone who has seen this actress in either the sci-fi drama television series "Roswell" or the teenage fatal attraction feature film "Swimfan" knows that Shiri has mastered the art of the emotional scene. She carries a certain "charm" that makes you care for the character she is portraying. I have no doubt that she can pull off the role of Piper Halliwell, and as a bonus she carries a certain resemblance to Holly Marie Combs (including a certain eyebrow scar). Amanda Bynes (right) as Phoebe Halliwell I don't think there is any other young actress who can honestly portray the bubbly and energetic spirit that is the "Something Wicca This Way Comes" version of Phoebe Halliwell. A great comedic actress ("What I Like About You," "She's The Man"), Amanda Bynes could easily give a genuine portrayal of Phoebe while simultaneously giving the role her own bit of unique flavor. |
